Here's an interesting one: My Instacart order from yesterday from Walmart included some Tillamook beef sticks that come in a plastic container with a screw-off and on top. So, I just opened it to try one - as you know, all containers like that have a cardboard or aluminum security top that you have to remove, just so you know no one has been in there. Well, someone had been in there, all right, cut the aluminum and then either grabbed a few or did who knows what else to them - I wasn't about to find out. I called Instacart, they gave me an instant credit, I placed the order for just that item and they'll deliver it - total cost to me for the delivery - .49.

I've come across a couple of items (fortunately, only a couple) in the last several years where the item on the shelf (and before i had purchased them) had been opened and partially eaten.: P
