Chai is a Hindi word meaning "tea." So if you say "Chai tea," you're really saying "tea tea."     

And when you say "shrimp scampi", you're saying "shrimp shrimp".

I have ventured outside so little during this arctic HELL, but I have a voice lesson to accompany this afternoon so that'll get me out for a bit. I owe Paul Ford for A&T getting published. After over 70 literary agent rejections, I sent Paul an email asking how he got a publisher. He said, it's my neighbor. So, I sent Robert an eail  "How do you feel abpout publishing whimsy?" And he replied, "Send it to me."

His name is new to me. A friend sent me the "So Long, Farewell" clip, so while listening to that I looked him up. I was struck by his involvement in ballet.
