Well, you're read the notes, the notes were terrifying and told a tale, and now it is time for you to post until the terrifying cows come home.

Glad to hear the CAT scan went so smoothly! I was surprised to hear you didn't feel warm with the dye - I sure as heck did when I had one a couple months ago. The heat only lasted a minute or so but it was pretty intense.

BK, I'm happy the CAT went well. I had remembered the one I had, only I had forgotten the IV and the warnng that I would feel warm after the dye was insertefd - which I indeed did! - but I could not remember - and still don't - if this happened before the 2020 surgery for the kidney tumor or the 2021 pre-radiation for the prostate cancer. Your detailed notes brought it all back exzcept for my CAT date. It's probably in one of my posts from 2020 or 2021. I'll do a search.

And now we take you back to my boring life. The cats have stopped hanging about the CD case like starvingrs looking into a restaurant window. Maybe there was no mouser?

I have begun the second Cat in the Stacks mystery, featuring a completely detestable family - so detestable they're both very ugly and very funny - and I'm really enjoying it.

I am quite proud of myself for procrastinating the laundry for a complete week, but tomorrow I will definitely get take care of it. As Carmen sings in Bizet's great opera:
Peut-être jamais! peut-être demain!
Mais pas aujourd'hui . . . c'est certain.

(Might be never, might be tomorrow,
But not today, that's for sure!)

I've discovered two more mystery series with cats, so I may try one of these when I finish my current one:

Not so great to hear about BK's Genghis Cohen dinner.  Hoping it was just an off night.

I think the Randy Vicar and the Phonograph Needle in today's notes may be my favorite Randy Vicar tale in a long time.

With the newest Vicar in the series GRANTCHESTER seeming to hop into so many beds with so many different women in such a short TV season, he's become my reference point for the "Randy Vicar" mentions.

I too felt the heat when my CAT was getting scanned.....strange.

Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co.

The Timberwolves had three guys out last night so Luka Garza was on the floor for ELEVEN minutes.....he got 4 rebounds and scored 4 points...did some blocking....they should use him MORE.

Today I must make a run to the bank, and then spend a few hours or several hours finishing up the internal cleaning and the putting back together of a keyboard. Pray for that baby.

There is an open house for the house across the street that is for sale.  The OH will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

So ALL parking laws on the street will be null and void during those hours.....it's kind of like when someone has a yard sale.
