Interesting.  I hope it helps DR GEORGE.

DR FREDDIE I think I have gone through all of my issues of Scarlet Street and Scarlet The Movie Magazine and have not seen TLS article/interview.

I will continue to look.....but alphabetically (Virgo you know) I am now onto Starlog Magazine.

DR ELMORE I think the Cart Saga is certainly worthy of a blog post.

I read a post on the interweb that our president is a pronoid.....which is the opposite of paranoid where one thinks everyone is against him.

A pronoid person instead thinks that everyone agrees with him and that he is smartest person in the room....

I still think that Jay Dee was at the Zelensky meeting to be the one to be mean to him....but Derp couldn't stand it that Jay might get all the attention and jumped in with his own idiotic/treasonous/unfounded rants.....

That's OK.  Maybe it's better not to find it.

It was a time of feeling encouraged - as shows went in terms of the reception we'd gotten, a time when we thought we had a reasonable chance at having a show with a potential of having a real ongoing life!  Everything was looking promising.

It's quite lovely, though, to have gotten local productions even in the past several years!   And we keep putting our effort behind getting more productions!

And yet...

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/internet-outraged-over-music-oscars-041612988.html

"Internet outraged over music for Oscars memoriam segment - as Michelle Trachtenberg’s omission causes as much fury"

Go there if you dare. Just be prepared to give up on human civilization lasting much longer.

No, I never went looking for that. I don't go looking for anything of the sort. Someone directed me to it, and so I share the wealth.

It was quite interesting to read that, though I am happy to have had the warning before reading it!

And regarding "their" point as to Michelle Trachtenberg not being included, there's pretty much no doubt that she will be remembered at the Emmys.

They're closed now, but as I understand it, there continues to be a standoff this morning between the (unionized?) staff and the trust that owned/ran the place. I have absolutely no idea of grievances and recent history, so I don't make any criticism either way as regards that.

EDIT:  Yes, unionized. Local 11.

I saw something about that this morning on my FB L.A. pages.  If I was ever there it might have only been once, many years ago.

Iris, since they finally did a good job with the “In Memoriam” segment I will find it and watch it.

Here it is, Jane.

I think they should have included Mitzi Gaynor, Tony Roberts, and Olivia Hussey, but that seems to be a problem every year.

Absolutely.

It always does, doesn't it? On any such awards show.

Is it also a factor that people who are interested in having their certain someone included have to pay something (perhaps a sizable something) for the honor? I ask in complete ignorance of how that works.

That is just not right.

I'd like to chime in with something very positive about Adrien Brody.  I worked for the firm which did a lot of Adrien Brody's tax work for about four years in the mid-2010s, and while this might not sound like a big deal in general, to a tax person it's key, and speaks to his being a very considerate person: The material he sent in was among the most useful and helpful and considerate I'd seen in all my time of doing tax work.

That's great!

It’s not that hard to go through a year and not leave people out. Trachtenberg, I mean I first saw her in a movie. But I get that she’s primarily a TV associated person. But Mitzi Gaynor? A legend of the big screen!

Modern houses by code, must install outlets with built in breakers, especially in kitchens and bathrooms where water can cause shocks. You’ve probably been somewhere and seen an outlet with a little light and/or little on/off switches.  Ground Fault Circuit Interruption. GFCI.
