I don’t like that George resetting his breakers didn’t help fix the issue. But G, look around the house for all your GFCI outlets. The ones with little trip switches on them, often in bathroom and kitchen. One of those may be on the circuit, could have tripped and needs to be reset at the outlet. Worth checking all those.

Thanks, I have already reset some of those, but I don't know if I've checked all that are here.  I'll look again tomorrow to make sure that I didn't miss any.  I know that there aren't any of those kinds of outlets in the room that lost power.

I slept quite well, even with hyperactive kitties running rampant over me between 3:00 and 5:00. Thatch and Annabelle were the prime offenders. At the moment, all three are sleeping off their breakfastof minced tuna.

Annabelle has discovered that there are three - 3 ! ! ! - tiers to the teacart. At the moment, she's sleeping on the top tier next to me, but earlier she rode into the kitchen on the bottom one. I still remain amazed I'm not a drunk.

Well, DR Ron Pulliam, I hope James Carville is right, and I agree: that's still 29 days too long. I was absolutely certain that a family member of a deported immigrant or a Ukrainian sniper would have taken him out by now.

Once Amazon shows up, I hope to begin the laundry. I also need to discuss the proposed North Carolina School of the Arts use of part of the ballet so the budget can be submitted.

It's looking like this could be the wave of the future for Broadway light dimming, only one or a few selected theaters rather than all theaters.

Amazon Fresh arrived early and, during the brouhaha, Stella ran off into the hall. I ignored her and she returned very soon. Annabelle, after checking out a few empty Amazon bags, tried to follow her but I caught her in time so she returned to her teacart to supervise my unpacking the grocery order.

TOD:

Good morning, tutti!  That's "eyetalian" for "y'all".

(In a different spelling, Tootie was the name of Margaret O'Brien in "Meet Me in St. Louis" and, later, of Kim Fields in "The Facts of Life" TV show).

TOD:

I know I sang around the house as a young'un...and many of the songs were by Gale Storm ("Memories are Made of This" and "I Hear You Knockin'"), but I also loved "Oh, My Papa" by Eddie Fisher and "Hot Diggity (Dog Ziggity Boom)" sung by Perry Como.

And did anyone know that when Storm made ""My Little Margie" that it was only intended to be a summer replacement show for "I Love Lucy"?  It was so popular that it got its own contract and time slot.

One of my favorite things to do was "The Bunny Hop" dance.

And we loved watching "Your Hit Parade" with Dorothy Collins, Giselle McKenzie, Russell Arms and Snooky Lanson.

They were the "bee's knees" in our house!
