I am hosting a group tonight.  I hope people show up. Hardly anyone came the night of the vice presidential debate.  I hope people show up tonight.

I am home from a double-header of rehearsals, and I was nearly brain dead at the end of the second one. Tomorrow is just one evening rehearsal, so that will feel like a vacation. Thursday is another double-header, and that evening will be a performance. Send vibes for Rosemary's Baby.

I have officially decided that I love pit work more than just about anything in my musical life. It's great to music-direct something you love now and then, and I am very grateful to have the privilege of doing so, but I love playing in pits with good musicians and could be happy doing ... just that, and be totally happy.

DR MichaelG, when you are seeing LOVE LIFE?

Who else is going?

I have a show around that time, and I have to look to see if there's a possibility of my getting into the city for it. It would be ridiculous to miss it after the covid delay and everything.

Pretty good turnout.  And they recognized the king (cup) cakes and pancake cookies.

This morning, when I was at the international market, I said to myself that I was going to run into a chef friend I hadn’t seen in years. I didn’t see him at the market, but I did see him at the theeder tonight. How strange.

They had dancers, s brass band, a winds band, choral singing and a preview of the orchestra they’re supposedly launching in the fall.

They also made silkscreen T-shirts that they gave out. They had extra, so I had one made for me.

We're going on Friday the 28th. I'm a huge Weill fan so I can't miss this chance.

Anxiously awaiting BK's return to find out if the cast is truly off book tonight.

I did not go anywhere near a television tonight, for obvious reasons.
