I just made the mistake of looking at our IRA portfolio and comparing it to Friday evening’s total.

I feel nauseous

I take my son to a climbing class in Surrey, BC. Park in a massive parking lot that also serves a transit hub. A big chunk of the lot is now rented and fenced off and filled with Teslas the nearby Tesla dealer can’t get rid of. Dozens of this silver tank mobiles and others that I hope decay there for ages.

Oh, my goodness! :o

Just signed up for ushering tomorrow morning for a literary event. I hear the guest speaker is a favorite of mine, a gentleman who shall remain nameless. But he did write a host of books including The Satanic Verses and Midnight’s Children. I particularly liked Quichotte.

Hope you enjoy the evening, John!

When I was eight or nine I heard my grandmother say something about someone she knew.

And now every time I see the alleged prezzidint.....I think of it...."That man has a mouth like a hen's butt."

Try to unsee that.

I am home from a double-header of rehearsals, and I was nearly brain dead at the end of the second one. Tomorrow is just one evening rehearsal, so that will feel like a vacation. Thursday is another double-header, and that evening will be a performance. Send vibes for Rosemary's Baby.

Pretty good turnout.  And they recognized the king (cup) cakes and pancake cookies.

That's great, Laura!

They also made silkscreen T-shirts that they gave out. They had extra, so I had one made for me.

Very nice, John.

Back from rehearsal. We didn't start until almost eight for the run-through so I knew we couldn't do act two. We stumbled through act one, assigned the rest of the scene shift, and then I did detail work with the actors. Tomorrow night, I think Richard Allen will be with us, and Sunday, too. The tracks are just too weird to work with - he's playing the fast stuff VERY fast and the slow stuff VERY slow.

I was quite affected by a TV movie she was in where she was trying to bring modern medicine to these backwards yokels.
