I received my 4K/UHD/Blu-ray of "Wicked" yesterday.

That isn't remarkable until you take into account that I had pre-ordered it Dec. 23, 2024.  I checked up on it two days ago and saw that Amazon had adjusted delivery day to June 4.   Meanwhile, if I ordered it that day, I could have it the next day.

So, I reordered it and cancelled the first order. 

Isn't that the oddest thing?!!

That is very odd.

Then yesterday I deleted Facebook from my phone, because I was watching those stupid reels.

I know.  I get mad at myself for opening them.

Today is the day I go to a wedding and my friend and her daughter use my Wicked tickets. They are so excited.

Oh -- we did get rain yesterday. About a half-inch at my house. First real rain since August.

I did walk around the university campus where the meeting place was supposed to be. The red bud trees are in bloom. The mountain laurel is perfuming the air. And I met a nice lady who feeds and fixes the feral cats on campus.

Miss Lindsey Graham had a major hissy fit on Facebook yesterday.

Using a photo of himself visiting the area where thousands of acres burned in northeast South Carolina, he railed against the "liberal left" who made no issue of the fires or the heroism of the fire fighters and, instead, were only concerned with all the "fine work" being done by DOGE.

I was so irritated that I gave him a HUGE piece of whatever mind I had left.  Almost all the replies were in a similar vein, too.  That included the DOGE abolition of funding for fire fighters and his beloved Trump turning his back on climate issues which caused the damned fire.

Graham is a s**thead, plain and simple.
