And how is the great Mr. Orr?

He is doing well, although still in his wheelchair I fear it is permanent at this stage.

Jack Vettriano has died. You may not know the name (I didn’t), but you might know some of his paintings.

https://www.jackvettriano.com/

I have admired prints of his works before, although I fud not know his name. The world has lost a real.talent

Today I saw some people doing work on the lot across the street. They had a kind of dirt-sifting screen. So I realized they were archaeologists who have to come check out any property under development to make sure there are not tribal remains. I thought, hey, that’s a story my readers might enjoy, so I went and interviewed them. They were so nice, a girl and guy fresh out of George’s alma mater, Western Washington U., working their dream gig.

How interesting! Did they find anything  of note?

I've been very lazy - started a bunch of things, video-wise, but kept dozing off.

John G., do you own the cookbook “Modern Southwest Cuisine”?

There are some wonderful recipes, and absolutely gorgeous photographs.

The book and the recipes are by Chef John Sedlar, whose restaurant in L.A., Saint Estčphe, was one of my favorites.

I took many cooking classes with him, and learned how to make dishes that looked like paintings.

I think you would really like it.

It’s available on Amazon.
