But implant recycling is a bigger business than one might expect.

I did not realize it was a business.

Just back from possibly the last visit with one of my dance instructors. He has been sleeping a lot lately. Today he hasn't even awakened. But he's apparently in no pain, which is a blessing

I am so sorry, DR John G. Saying goodbye is the worst part of living.

I just finished watching the final hour of Wicked. I want to make time in the next couple of days to watch the entire movie in one sitting. I really loved the scattered  references to the 1939 film and the increased references to fascism in the novel. I found much of it very moving.  By the end of the movie, I decided I liked Ariana Grande more thjan I thought I did, but I loved Cynthia Erivo's performance. She's so much prettier with that stupid ring out of her nose.

I was really impressed by Paul Tazewell's costumes, which seemed a mix of Victorian/Edwardian (time of the novel's publication in 1900) and contemporary while seeming other-worldly as well as real clothing the citizens of Oz would wear.

We have had closer calls than that and no how scary it is.  Fortunately we have never hit a deer.  Once though a deer jumped over the hood of my car as I was driving ;D

I've been on hold for more than 20 minutes.  I think I will give up and try again tomorrow since it isn't urgent.

There are a couple of nice tables and a bookcase on the curb across the street.  But I have no room for any of them....too bad.

I am guessing that they will be gone by this time tomorrow.

I’m really enjoying a novel called Beyond You Is the Sea, interconnected short stories about several generations of three Palestinian immigrants whose lives overlap. Much humor, some heartbreak, even some horror.

It’s up for the PEN/Faulkner, I think.

My only bit of good news is that Modern Cat magazinbe wants to do something with Annabelle & Thatch, either a feature or a review.

That's wonderful news, Larry!

Ultimately, she’s all right - or so we were told - but she’ll have to watch her food intake or the tightness of the corset or whatever else was involved.

Preview audience tonight.

While all of that fun was going on, I got asked to step in and play the synth book for an Into the Woods next week down near Yonkers. I hear there’s a popular hay and feed store down that way.

I’ll have to see today if that’s possible to fit in. If it is, it’ll be a record setter for the month of March. Four shows in four weeks. Would I survive it?

Wow, ChasSmith!  Potentially two Hainsies and Kimlets working on the same show on different sides of the country! ;D
