If you want a gentle electronic score to liven up People on Sunday…

I do find that quite relaxing.

DR FREDDIE it is a ridiculous price.....certainly she had done a lot of work on it....and the pictures looked nice.

But in the late 1990's when it was a renter house my sister Molly and her husband Jason lived there for a year or so.....and ALL of the rooms are so small!

I will be interested to see who moves in.

Home from a bit of dry tech and run-through. We now have our plan that we'll write the rest of the show during the cue to cue. We got half of act one done in an hour today, so we should be able to do it. I'm not making anything difficult. She brings up lights, we decide on the "look" then finesse and move on.

One of our cast was there early and was nice enough to go get me a chicken salad sandwich from across that street. I was really hungry. I have a tiny bit of Taco Bell on its way because the sandwich was barely 400 calories.

It seems that many of us have been involved in productions of A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.

I myself played Hysterium.

The guys were doing "Everybody ought to have a maid"....and they got lost and messed up....I came out to join them and we continued to flounder.  The audience was laughing so hard and long.....

Of course at the end of the song they all ran off and left me to do my solo "I'm Calm"....as they left I called after them "Cowards!!"

Jrand, do you remember if you sang both verses to "Calm"?  When I was in it, the score only had one verse, so I transcribed the second verse from the original Broadway cast recording and our Hysterium sang both verses.

I was, briefly, cast as Pseudolus.  I say briefly because at the first rehearsal, less than half the cast showed up.  Oh, well.

That's too bad, Ron. :-\

PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE ALERT

I have so few old photos of things I was a part of, and some of you have posted yours, so here goes. The guy on the left is my friend the keyboardist/percussionist. The strange-looking dude is a 1998 version of someone you already know. Don't bother embiggening

Great picture, ChasSmith!

I did not realize that on the evening of March 12, 1971, David Burns was performing in Philadelphia in the pre-Broadway tour of 70, Girls, 70. After singing "Go Visit," he left the stage and collapsed in the wings, later dying at the hospital. The show's creators then turned the song into a duet for two other characters, and that is what we have on the cast album and what opened in New York.

Oh, my!  I knew that he had died before coming to Broadway, but I didn't know that info about the song.

TOD: I've been listening to SIX. I think we are going to trade in the & Juliet tickets for SIX.

I’d agree. I like the recording for Six more than & Juliet.

I've only heard a few songs from & Juliet, but I've heard the whole London recording and a lot of the Broadway recording of SIX...which I really enjoy.
