Starting an early talkie, the 1929 Philo Vance mystery The Canary Murder Case. It’s creaky, but it’s also fun. In addition to William Powell as Vance, there’s a young Jean Arthur and the bob herself, Louise Brooks.

This Bacharach show sounds wonderful. Too bad it’s not coming to San Antonio or Austin.

Thanks to a cancellation I finally saw my primary for my yearly check.  He has ordered an inhaler for my chronic covid cough.

That's great, Jane!  Too bad that it took a cancelation for you to get it sooner, though.

Thanks.

We made it safe and sound to our hotel in New York and then headed out to Emmy Squared for excellent Detroit-style pizza. The shows start tomorrow.

Excellent.  Enjoy the show.

I'm up as we have water dripping in through a vent or something.  We don't even know who to call.  Keith took photos and sent an email to condo office.  Hopefully the email will be read early and we have a response.

I might get a little sleep tonight but Keith won't get any.  We have a bucket collecting the water and will need to watch it carefully.

Now playing - Beethoven's third, the Eroica. I'll tell you one thing - the Philadelphia Orchestra of that period was without peer.

But on a happier note (B-flat):

Watch Liz Callaway & Paulo Szot Perform 'Too Many Mornings' From FOLLIES

The performance took place at An Evening With Liz Callaway at the London venue on March 17.

:D

That was stunning. But even more so, I want the neon sign behind them.

That is really cool. :)
