Thanks for the congrats on yesterday's Wordle, DRs Jane and George!
Then we walked over to the Eiffel Tower as we had an appointment to climb up to Level 2. Having had a bad experience with heights in Tokyo, I was not looking forward to this. I did not get dizzy this time but I found the stairs a fright, and mostly sat in a snack area while the fam explored. I begged off of the walk to Level 2, and the walk back down to earth was even worse than the walk up. Nevertheless, the kids had fun, and I am happy to be back on earth.
Double No!!!
Aujourd’hui was lovely here as the end draws nigh. Took a morning tour of hidden concourses around the Louvre. These shopping galleries date back to the 1840s, and still have amazing little artisanal shops and restaurants within. We finished at the Palais Royale, and a look at Colette’s apartment. Then a delightful lunch at a place called Bambini’s.
I am enjoying our guided tour of Paris courtesy of DR RODZINSKI!
Ok maybe it was a *little* harrowing. I don’t like stairs where I can see through them to the ground.

Sounds like my reaction to flying in a glass-bottom helicopter, and we could see Chicago and environs beneath us. I did that once in the early 1990s, decided never to do that again.

Jane, not very crowded. In general, it has been easy to get around. Versailles had a couple crowded rooms. We’ll see how the Louvre is tomorrow. Got a guide to help maybe get us through the madness.
The power was on when I left for dance class. We’ll see if it’s on when I get home.
I look out the window and see people still up there at midnight. Maybe we should’ve gone up at night. But we couldn’t get tix.

We are on the 6th floor of a walk up. That may be the only thing keeping me from a 10-lbs weight gain.
