DR ELMORE I think he was chosen to serve the last two years of Mike Braun's first senate term when Braun came back to become the Trump Governor of Indiana.

Great lineup. I’ve seen all but Straight Time, which has always intrigued me but I somehow missed it.

I haven’t seen that either. Alas that one is the conflict with my chorus gig.

I have started Babygirl. I really don’t like it. And when Antonio Banderas started talking about Hedda Gabbler, I thought, ugh, double ugh. I may take BK’s advice and skip it.

Have no idea about the sub pianist - we can only hope. Our pianist will let me know how it's going.

Then it was obvious that the computer was about to do its ubiquitous freeze, so I shut it down and everything is back up and running.

Here's to success!

Working with the regular guy more than once is the only way. Even when I've just subbed on a keyboard book in a pit, I've sat with the regular player at the show - twice in a few cases - and followed everything while recording it. Having the ability to study that recording - and make one's own very clear notes - is priceless. This has resulted in success each time thus far.

BK mentioned the scribblings. My first time doing this, the keyboardist gave me the worst imaginable book ever. His marks and scribblings were USELESS. I used that pit recording to re-notate my own copy of the entire book, even removing pages that were cut (unbelievable), and when I finally played, it was smooth sailing. I am not bragging. This takes work, and I am so grateful I know a few people, one excellent keyboardist in particular, who have taught me these invaluable lessons.

And THAT is great news indeed. May it result in a very good thing. And eventually even more, I hope. That ballet is incredible, and needs to get around.

I am watching the Minnesota Timberwolves play the Brooklyn Nets in an NBA game.

Luka Garza is sitting on the bench but he is wearing his uniform.

Did DR singdaw say that he was moving to a new apartment?  Maybe Luka is going to be his neighbor.
