Yesterday, around noon-thirty, Jen arrived with the new cart, and it is a beauty. It's maybe 2-3 inches wider than I would like, but it's quite sturdy, and it has the Annabelle seal of approval, and that's all that matters in thishousehold.
I am happy to report that my SS money was deposited in my account this morning.

I received a FB message last Friday from a "local" person who wanted to know if I was expecting a package to be delivered. She included a photo of a package with my address on it.I overlooked my tendency to snark (i.e. if she has a package with my name and address on it, I am likely expecting it), and told her it was me (I realized she had no way of knowing if I was the same person at the address on the package).FedEx had left it at her house. It was "Overnight priority" and labeled "Perishable". The driver left it at an address not remotely similar to the one on the package.I told her I'd gladly come pick it up, but her husband drove it to me. Very nice guy!I posted my thanks to them on a FB page dedicated to my local area. I learned that the previous FedEx driver who had been delivering for years had recently died and that a new, young driver was just learning the route.I thanked the bearer of that news but wondered whether FedEx hadn't caught up with GPS to enable drivers to find places.The package was from the VA and was medication requiring refrigeration. It was still ice cold, so all was well.
