The cat is drugged (on Gabapentin) and we’ll be leaving for his annual checkup in just a bit. I put this one off for a long time. The vet wants twice a year but we do what we can.

Sending hugs.

Well...Hellfire and Tarnation!!

This morning, I attempted to pay my taxes "online" and found that the IRS system, located in Charlotte NC for my local office, is completely nonfunctional!

I could get in, and I could get to one point, and then it would not allow me to go further.  It kept asking for information I had already entered, time and time again.

I blame DJT and EM!   At the most critical point of the year for the IRS and Treasury Department -- a time of the year when thousands of extra folks are hired to help out nationwide -- complete and utter imbecilic idiocy reduces the IRS  work force and they cannot hire folks.  Apparently their IT staff is either gone or so diminished that they cannot make it possible to pay from our bank accounts.

I'll say this, however:  I also paid my state taxes online and it was a breeze!

The next person who says Trump is doing a great -- within earshot of me, that is -- is going to get a tirade of insults from me.

So, yes, I am mailing a check.   The beleaguered USPS has to bear the burden.

The laundry is in the dryers. While I was in the basement,  I met a tenant I had never seen before. He's lived in the building a year.

My first film class last night was great fun! The plan changed - we saw Paper Moon instead of Badlands. He thought Badlands was too depressing to start the class with given the current state of the world.

I hadn't seen either one so that was fine with me. I loved Paper Moon. Ryan and Tatum O'Neal were just fabulous in it, and the photography / cinematography was gorgeous.

My brother now has an Unemployment claim in the system.

Next week we are going sign him up for Social Security and we will see which gets approved first.

Great and vibes you have a good audience.
