The WORST part of the evening was the drive up to Lakewood!

There's construction on I-5 in the evenings this weekend and I'd heard that there were a couple of accidents, so it took me TWO AND A HALF HOURS to get to the theater in Lakewood from Tumwater, when it normally would take about 35 minutes! :o

Hopefully, tonight won't be as bad (HOPEFULLY, no accidents), but I'll leave even earlier and hang out in Lakewood before the theater opens, if necessary.

Otherwise, I have some shopping to do today and my cousin John is visiting from Oregon this weekend, but he won't be able to see the show. :-\

Yikes, DR George. Glad the opening went well, and hoping your commute isn't nearly as bad tonight.

BK, great to hear the show went so well last night, and that Ira Levin's son brought his family from Seattle!

That was so cool!

If you like contemporary (but tonal) choral music, this new album is a stunner.

Yesterday on TCM I saw a movie that I didn't even know existed.

A 1932 VANITY FAIR - that had been updated to then contemporary times....and starring Myrna Loy.

The print was not good - but it certainly was interesting to see.  Maybe it will be ONDemand the rest of the month.
