But tell me again, why does Glinda not tell Dorothy she could click her heels three times and she'd be home, and all that mayhem wouldn't need to happen?   Asking for a friend.

Not many people know this, and it may not be true - but Jerry Herman tried to interpolate a song for a Wizard of Oz stage version "Just give Dorothy to me" - but then used the tune for "Just Leave Everything to Me"
