But tell me again, why does Glinda not tell Dorothy she could click her heels three times and she'd be home, and all that mayhem wouldn't need to happen?   Asking for a friend.

This smacks too much of...   something.

Something, indeed!  :)

Another lovely photo from DR JANE.

That is lovely.  (P.S. the second woman from the left seems to be posing for a future edition of "Side Eye.")

New half-hour documentary: West Side Story: The True Story of How Four Gay Men Created America's Greatest Musical.

The documentary, written, directed, and narrated by historian and college professor David LaFontaine, will have its online premiere Thursday at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, along with a panel discussion, and then will be made available free to colleges around the country as the first entry in the LGBTQ Literature Project.

Of course, if any colleges actually screen it, they will likely lose all Federal funding and grants.

Finishing up a Great Courses series on Norse mythology. It’s been interesting, but the instructor’s voice is too soft. I haven’t been able to listen to it in the car.

That's really cool, Singdaw, but it didn't work for me (on my phone, at least) until I only clicked on the link without the first part, as I adjusted above.

I'll shower in an hour then be on my way to the theater. At seven, I'm making an adjustment to the curtain call because when we gesture to the band we can't actually see them.
