Well, you've read the notes, the notes were silent, and now it is time for you to post until the silent cows come home.

So, it turns out that I won't need to be back at ItW rehearsals until two weeks from today, when we have the first actual read-through.  Since these first two weeks will only be music, I will otherwise have nothing to do during said music rehearsals, so I can stay away until the 21st...so I shall :)

And that will allow me to be at Thursday's performance of The HEAD!!! That Wouldn't DIE! without feeling guilty about missing the ItW rehearsal.

Rodzinski I tried melatonin so many years ago I don't remember why it bothered me. Keith tried it and it didn't help. He does better with a white noise machine and I do better with Glycine.

Rodzinski I think we are having fun because we are on a good tour and not exploring on our own. Our view of the city was from the bus.

I was pleasantly surprised to find halvah at the breakfast buffet. It was creamier than what I am used to but still delicious.

Yesterday was a quiet day for the most part. Besides the usual kitty cleanup, I needed to chop up red and green peppers for pasta sauce and assemble the laundry from Sunday's bout of sickness. After dinner, I had a hellish time with the computer updates because it wouldn't accept the password, and no matter what I did to generate a new one, nothing worked. Curiously, this morning it all worked.

I have a lot of crap to cart to the basement this morning. I believe Jen is taking the package to the post office for me today, and I have that ready to go.

I'm putting off the laundry to tomorrow. I don't want to deal with that as well as all the trash going to the basement.

DR vixmom, your Amadeus adventure sounds wonderful. I've been a fan of F. Murray Abraham since I saw him on Broadway in McNally's The Ritz around 1975. He's a wonderful actor, and I'm sure he will be wonderful in his musical with Chenoweth. Unfortunately, at the Drama Book Shop he was an arrogant sonofabitch and I've been on the receiving end - for the record, I was right and he wasn't - and I'm not sure I'd want to play nice with him.

While getting material together for my book on the first quarter century (mixing parodies with stories), I found some old communications from a fellow who lives on the next block named John Ekizian, whom I dated in the 1980s and who was in Skip's BMI class around 1999-2000.   I found a letter that John had claimed he sent to the police (the police had no record of getting the letter) which started by saying that I kept calling him in fall 2021 even though he had blocked my number, which of course made no sense, since how was I calling him if he had blocked me.  But he also brought up some issues he claimed to have had about Skip in BMI class back in 1999-2000, even though we'd run into him on the street so many times over the two decades after that.  And from what I can see from when John and I dated in the 1980s, it was a lovely time that just ended very amicably.

There are of course people who dislike me for some reason or other (some having to do with family money), but have no problem whatsoever with Skip.    There are people who might dislike Skip (like some who had work issues or blame him for their not going on to the 3rd year at BMI), but have no issue whatsoever with me.  There are only two people I know of in the entire world who have a dislike for both Skip and me, and John Ekizian is one of them.  It's been very interesting looking back at this quarter century, but also perplexing.   I wonder if I should just let the book be the parodies only and drop the narrative.

I believe it was Singdaw wondering about melatonin. Mrs Rodz takes it now and again, two chewy pills from a purple bottle. But I don’t think it helps her that much.
