Last night, I came home and watched some YouTube short vids, then watched some Twitter (currently known as X) vids and just kept watching which caused me to lose track of time. ::)

And the answer is YES - the author of the fan letter is still around and, as it turns out, we'd corresponded on Facebook since 2012. Last correspondence was when she watched all the episodes of Sami.

We had a good show last night!  It was the Pay-What-You-Can night, and while we didn't have a large crowd, it also wasn't the smallest.  However, they thoroughly enjoyed the show!  We had a few bigger laughs than any previous night, so that's good.  Only three shows left, then I'll be dedicated to Into the Woods!

I slept well until 5:00. I suddenly became overwhelmed by al, and Thatch is saitting in the small Amazon carton I opened last night. I don't know where Stella might be, but she'll turn up when I clean up their breakfast dishes for a few more bits of tuna.

On March 27, I sent my doctor a list of prescription refills I needed. I used to be able to deal with all of this online, and suddenly one day half of my meds vanished from my online chart. So now I must message my doctor to get refills. The pharmacy delivered everything they had, only two medications were missing. My pharmacy confirmed they did not get prescriptions, so I checked my original list I sent to my doctor and the missing two were on it. I doubt my doctor was behind the error, but it just pisses me off.

Jesse Green's New York Times review of SMASH on Broadway is an out-and-out rave.

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/10/theater/review-smash-musical.html
"Review: In a Musical Comedy Makeover, ‘Smash’ Lives Up to Its Name
En route to Broadway, the TV series about backstage shenanigans and Marilyn Monroe has been rejiggered, with the same great songs but a whole new plot."

Friday! And here I am, with almost no time before I must prepare to go back to Sacred Heart University for another voice lesson/rehearsal for the little recital next week.

First night of auditions was par for the course, everything from the ridiculous to the sublime. I would place some emphasis on the former.

Nothing tonight, thank gawd, but a whole morning and afternoon of them tomorrow.

I think the soundtrack to Looking for Mr. Goodbar is one of the best of its type. I practically wore out my vinyl copy. Thelma Houston, Boz Scaggs, the O’Jays — it’s incredible.

Other reviews were far less kind.
