Well, you've read the notes, the notes served sherbet with Schubert, and now it is time for you to post until the Schubertian cows come home.

Wordle 1,403 3/6

🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜
🟩⬜⬜⬜🟩
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

I entered the third word, not thinking that it was a real, useable word, let alone that it could be the actual word of the day! ;D

It was a weird night of sleep. I slept "okay", but I must have awakened almost hourly. Just weird. Anyhoo, I must get myself into gear. It's back to Foggy Bottom today. Or Bikini Beach. Or... ?

My computer is acting up. I was up too late trying to solve the problem and restore things. I got to bed around 11:30, two hours at least past my usual bedtime.

Around 9:00, I noticed that all my icons on my desktop had become maybe two times larger than usual. After tinkering with Mac System Settings for two hours, I sorta got them back to original size, but one has vanished, and no internal search recovered it. So, today I muist find my last external hard drive and retrieve it.

I don't think the cats were happy that breakfast was an hour late this morning.

I would honestly be scared to think too hard on what kind of clothes I wore as a kid.  :)

But BK mentioned jeans. It's very possible I never had jeans as a kid. I can't bring back any memory of having any kind of denim. I don't think I even bought a pair of jeans for myself until I was in my twenties, post-college, living in L.A.

I had several strange dreams. I remember part of one in which I was in a doctor's office where I was prodded and poked in numerous and unpleasant ways during an examination.

I have a trip to the basement and mailboxes, a search for that hard drive, and two scores from Joe Hearson to print out. I'd rather go back to bed.

DR vixmom, your Easter wore me out.

That was beyond superhuman.

Is she even a real person?

And not, say, some kind of ... ROBOT? Or ANDROID? Or some other AI thing??

The day I've been looking forward to and doing research for (after getting scads of offers from health insurance companies) arrived, the - possibly only? - good point I can see so far of turning 65 next month:  I got on the phone and computer and signed up for Medicare yesterday; it was receiving several emails and entering a few code numbers and a couple of "electronic signatures" - but in the scheme of things, it was a relatively straightforward process.

Goodness, I am sure what DR Laura does, regularly feeding the entire congregation, it much more strenuous than my occasional holiday dinners.
