Sydney's more concerned about the next two performances - she thinks she'll be fine tonight. I told her to not push vocally tonight and that I'd have her mic level pushed up a bit. She has four songs in the show, but only two would be taxing vocally and only one has a money note at the end and that's a song we could actually and easily take down a whole step if we needed to.

DR George, did you receive an email from the Pierce Library?
"On April 28, 2025, the Library System will cancel holds that should not have shown as available. If you did place a hold on such a title, your account will show that the title is no longer available."

No.  I didn't get an e-mail like that. :-\ I wonder what title(s) it(they) could've been.

If you didn't get the email I suppose you don't have any of the titles.  I hope they do as promised and let me know which titles they remove.

It all sounds intriguing!

LOL, I suppose you could think of it as intriguing.  Between "holds" and "notify me" I have too many books to keep track of if they lose any.

Neighbors/friends we see at the gym just checked to see if we are ok since we haven't been there.

It is.  They also knew we had been sick, and that we rarely miss going to the gym.

We are hoping Jason Statham's movie, A Working Man, will keep us from falling asleep.

Then hopefully we will stay awake long enough to watch Nathan Lane's new show Mid-Century Modern.

The farm-to-table restaurant was outstanding.  Great setting, nice little touches and flourishes, great service, great food, great.live music. Restauranting done the right way.

So, Into the Woods has a rehearsal tomorrow morning at 10:00 am, but I just came across this article about south-bound travel around Joint Base Lewis-McCord:

Expect backups on I-5 near Nisqually Saturday, Sunday mornings. Here’s why:

I think only the director and choreographer live north of JBLM, and the choreographer isn't called for tomorrow, so most likely only the director's commute will be affected. :-\
