Dorothy Collins in Applesauce sounds like a recipe.

In the land of opera, a bad book doesn’t seem to matter. Il Trovatore springs to mind. In the last two seasons, we’ve had several musicals reassessed. Great score, bad book. For audiences, the impact of Merrily happened despite the book. Chess had yet another new book, but audiences don’t mind much because of the score. Some critics loved Love Life, some hated it because of the book. Yet the score sang for its supper.

We just got back from the lab for retests on our blood. We both failed at our regular checkups a few months ago. Me for bad cholesterol and him for A1C.

Also, it's supposed to rain tonight. I've heard that before. I think the last good rain we had was in November. I don't think amounts like .01 count, because it doesn't really soak into the ground.

With the posting going slowly so far today, maybe this is worth repeating:

A friend who worked the box office at North Shore insisted that when APPLAUSE was playing there, they had many calls asking for tickets to Dorothy Collins in APPLESAUCE.
