please, mum, I'd like some more.

Nurse Jane's chocolate fudge with dried cherries and slivers of almonds is ambrosial nirvana, and it's as wonderful as our Nursie!

PennyO, that chicken in a pot has your name all over it.  Can't you find some reason to come to NYC for an audition?

I normally don't make resolutions for New Year's.  My doctor injects little reminders about the benefits of weight loss into his emails to me, although he doesn't usually bring it up when I see him, because he knows I know it and why make me feel uncomfortable coming to see him.  So maybe it's really about time to make weight loss a serious resolution.

On something that was brought up earlier - Does being thin make someone look young?  It's always seemed to me that, at least in the face, the fat fills in the lines.  :)

Well I won the bid on the Kurta!  It is not exactly my color, but I wanted to try one and see if I like it.  ;D

I got a three piece outfit - top, pants, dupotti scarf...the whole sha-mooo for $19 including s/h/insurance.  8)

I will probably wear the top with black pants....time will tell.

Penny, you may not remember this, but you have been eating my fudge as long as you have known me.  First it was my mother’s fudge.  I added the toasted slivered almonds and the dried cherries (from shipped from Michigan).

elmore I will send more before the month is out.

I guess I just made a New Years resolution, to send elmore fudge.

I want to see more of my children this year and I need to return to volunteer work.  I don’t want to return to the nursing home, ten years of doing that with Echo & I admit my heart isn’t in it anymore.  Not just because of Echo but it is so hard to visit.  I feel terribly guilty about deserting the friends I made there.  My next plan may be even more difficult since I want to play with the cats and dogs at a shelter.  The better socialized they are the better their chances of adoption.  Plus they must get lonely in those cages.
