TOD: I would go back to the 20th century, circa 1954, Universal-International Studios to see all their wonderful contract players make their daily rounds of acting classes, dancing classes, etc. which the studio provided. Particulary I would tag along with Miss Allison Hayes and Miss Sara Shane with a couple of pit stops to see what Race Gentry and Mark Damon were doing!

Well we KNOW what they were doing off the lot!

DRJOSE - your workouts are indeed providing results.  Your new avatar of the slim and trim JOSE is great!

Perhaps in reciprocity once I get below 200 lbs, I will post a new FACE picture of my new and improved self as well!

I also watched MEDIUM last night (here it's also on at 9pm).

I echo DR MattH's statements about it being intense.  Parts were almost uncomfortable (it featured Alison being "possessed" by a killer).

It is always interesting to see where her dreams will lead.  And this season has been extremely unpredictable.

It was a good episode.  Although a bit scary.

Good line vibes to the cast of DECEIT....

Glad that DRBEN is back....DR td is employed.  Yes, we have MAIL today. I am expecting a couple of things, too.  And I hope they arrive!

TOD:  Well....hmmm.  I guess I would like to visit my ancestor Henry the Black when he was King of Germany and Duke of Bavaria just to see what things were like in the 11th Century!  I guess I would have to learn to ride a horse.

Good morning!

The rain has come and gone and now we have blue skies and temps steadily rising. Looks to be the beginnings of a beautiful day here.

I think I'd go back to the first century B.C. to see what Roman life was REALLY like under Julius Caesar. ROME was a fascinating but somewhat frustrating series for me (after the highs of I, CLAUDIUS), and that entire period of history is just SO intriguing. I'd love to see the life of a royal, a senator, a centurion, and a slave. So many distinct classes of people in that culture, and I think it'd be fascinating to observe them all.

I'm very happy to see SCRUBS finally back on the NBC schedule even though it's going to get creamed in the ratings by football on ABC. I'll definitely be watching SCRUBS.

LAW & ORDER: SVU has a new episode tonight, too, that I'll be watching. I must remember to set the DVR to get THE CLOSER which is on opposite SVU.

The HOUSE rerun tonight with Ron Livingston is also an excellent episode that I wouldn't mind seeing again.

I never got around to ANNA AND THE KING OF SIAM yesterday, but it's tops on my list for today.

I'm thinking I might start on Season 3 of SEINFELD, too.

TOD:

I'm thinking that I would like to go to ancient Greece and attend a performance of one of Aristophanes' plays.

BTW, how does the HainsHisWay Time Machine work?  Is it like George Pal's comfy settee? Or like the weightless bouncing through the Time Tunnel?  Or does one have to consult with the I Ching?

Good morning all

I'm up, after a somewhat restless night of sleep, due to my body being unaccustomed to a normal schedule.  I will attempt to think of a TOD later, after the coffee kicks in.  I will add, though, that if I could use the trusty HHW time machine to go FORWARD in time, I'd go ahead to the end of this month and find out if I still have a place of employment.

Second choice....a week at the Roland Reed Studios in Hollywood in 1952 to watch filming of ROCKY JONES, SPACE RANGER and MY LITTLE MARGIE.

How long can we stay when we go back?  Can we make changes or just observe?  I for one would like to go back and buy that lovely mansion I could have had for $120,000 back in 1984 that is now worth over a million......

Ron Pulliam... now that you have seen Lestat, do you think it is a show that should be seen by a 12/13 year old?

(Mine f'instance?)

Or could I go back and get my parents to buy Xerox stock in the 1960's?

And if you look to the left, you'll see what I ended up working on during the commercials.

New Year, New Pic.

;)

Great new picture, Jose!

And yours, too, Dan-the-Man! (sorry I didin't mention it earlier)

If we can go forward in time, I'd like to go forward far enough to find out how long I end up living, and whether all this talk of losing weight right now is really necessary for health purposes.  :)

Can you scan and share?

It is cold grey and rainy here... a sunny Austrailian beach would brighten the day!
