Good Evening!

Well... I meant to post from the theatre, but time just got away from me.  -But we had a very good rehearsal.

Well, I'm afraid that's all I can muster for now...  Today was a long day, and I'm very tired.  -I was very sleepy during the first act of the show tonight.  I had to make sure to walk around during the book scenes to keep from nodding off.  So...

Goodnight.

Well, guess I'll drink my Chamomile tea and try to get to sleep.

Congratulations, all, on 170,000+ Posts!  I was logged in, but wasn't paying attention (I was at work, you know ::)) and missed the moment.

Today after work, I went to Fred Meyer and was looking around in their DVD section and saw the complete first season to the TV show FAME!  I didn't know that it was even going to be released!  I loved this show!  I have two or three of the "Kids From Fame" albums.  I was reading the synopsis with Gwen Verdon as guest and it says that "This episode has been musically edited."  I would assume that they couldn't get the rights to a song.  I hope it wasn't a performance by Gwen.  Anyone know?  Anyone care? ;)

The best part was that I had a $4 coupon, but the tax was $3.36, so it wasn't that much of a savings.  But it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. ;)

Finally back - we grabbed a bite to eat after rehearsal.  Must write the notes now.

George - A number of DVD sets for TV series are missing some of the original music these days.  It's not that they couldn't get the rights, they simply chose not to pay for them.  I know all the season sets for Quantum Leap, other than the first 8-episode season, have this same problem.  Many shows that used a lot of non-original music are sadly likely to share this fate.
