Hmmm I love that DR Mark is now coming back as Mr. Mark Bakalor.  Whose idea was that? :)

 ???

Confused, Jennifer, I am.

To my knowledge, he was always Mr. Mark Bakalor!

Jennifer,
That is a pic of myself with actress Carolyn Kearney when I went to her house for lunch last September during my lovely visit to Los Angeles. She is holding up a copy of Filmfax which is opened up to the interview article I did on her. She is such a sweet lady and I fell in love with her big dog Coda! The picture is quite blurry. I don't know how to fix that.

BK:  You cracked me up.

Jennifer:  One of the longstanding BKisms of this forum is that BK has always called DR Mark "Mr. Mark Bakalor"!

DR JENNIFER, I think my dogs are playing, but I am not sure....because that's not my dog.  ;D

I will tryp AOPP on my AIM when I get home later MBARNUM.   I very rarely use IM, but I know if I got into it,  I would use it ALL THE TIME!! :P

DRJOSE - I forgot about the Edison Hotel.  A lot of my friends who are teachers and who take their classes on Broadway trips stay there.  I will see if I can get a handle on what it's like now....or at least recently!

JRand53, I don't use it much either, but sometimes it comes in handy for a quick message (as opposed to e-mail).

AIM=AOL INstant Message. Of course. You would think I would have figured that out! LOL!

Oh, my ears and whiskers!  How could I have forgotten to nominate Jim Rockford as one of the All Time Favorite Fictional Detectives?  DH and I were listing his wonderful qualities just the other day, to wit:

Lives in a trailer
Gets winded chasing after bad guys
Hurts his hand after punching bad guys
Great relationship with his dad Rocky
Puts up with Angel

and finally...

Jennifer---
I got a lot of results, but none of them had what I was searching for and they were all from the last couple of days even though what I wanted was mentioned here two or three weeks ago.

I am trying to find the author of EVER AFTER, a book that was discussed on this here site.  I tried searching EVER AFTER and got the results I described above; part of the book is supposed to be about A CHORUS LINE but a search for that did nothing.

If you can find this I'd appreciate it as I am going to Drama Book Store later (they just got THE COMPLETE LYRICS OF FRANK LOESSER in stock) and I want to pre-order EVER AFTER but need make sure that is the right title and find out who is the author.

I'll post the problem on the technical board.

DRs Emily, Andrea and any others who want to order from amazon.ca: I got another $5 off discount coupon this time from Canada post. I think that anyone can use this one (as long as you order from amazon canada and not amazon.com).

It is MAPDECSTAMPS expires dec 31st.

Not sure how much you have to buy. But of course we always order $39 to get the free shipping.

Oh there is also a good coupon from chapters (http://www.chapters.indigo.ca) that gives you $10 if you order $50 (with free shipping in canada).

Love these coupons. You just go to www.chapters.indigo.ca/canadapost to register and they send you the coupon by email.

I always stay at the Edison when I go to NYC. The rooms are smallish but it's clean and conveniently located in the theater district. It's all I need since I only sleep and change clothes there and am out around and about at all other times.

Favorite fictional detectives? I love SO many of them because mysteries are my passion.

TV: My first choice is Jim Hutton's ELLERY QUEEN, and I would love to have a complete set of the one season he did that series on television. Those period mysteries were really wonderfully done and very baffling, yet the clues WERE right there if you were observent enough to catch them.

Great choice!

Yah I see what you mean. Most of the results are newish.

What I would suggest is trying to remember who posted the title. And then emailing their HHW account.

THank you, DR Jane. COlumbia House that sells videotapes of many series in monthly installments (which is how I collected KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER; now I understand it's coming to DVD in a boxed set) did not offer ELLERY QUEEN or I would have them. Too bad I wasn't recording them when A&E used to show them regularly. The MYSTERY channel doesn't have them either, or they didn't back when I had that channel. It's in another tier on digital cable now so I don't subscribe to it.

I have a VCD of Who Killed Teddy Bear.

A few weeks ago I saw an eBay listing for the video to Who Killed Teddy Bear and it said that the video didn't include the infamous swimming pool scene.  BK, does your VCD include that scene and what's so infamous about it?  Does anyone know (or care) if there is a video release with the infamous swimming pool scene?

Something Italian will work, too.

Just not anything with turkey, please!

No, I don't think I can handle turkey today.

Or stuffing.

Or poultry.

Did anyone watch THE REAGANS on Showtime last night? Having suffered through eight years of his Presidency, I really wasn't in the mood to see it, but it has gotten surprisingly good reviews, especially for the remarkable Judy Davis as Nancy.
