BK, there is an Evening Primrose on the original FROGS CD release (The one before it became a Broadway show).  The Lovely wife was playing it in the car the other day.

TCB, yeah...the library's kinda special.  I'll be glad when the bookcases in the office are up and all the books are out.

Hi Gang!

I guess you could say that since I own this house clear and free that I do have what others would wish for.  Still it’s not a dream home by a long shot.  I will buy something else when I hit the lotto.

Maybe a couple of houses around the country--one near NYC, another out west someplace, maybe London.  I'd have to think about it.

I'd give anything to have a library like you do, DR Charles Pogue.  I remember the pictures of BK's library as well.  Sigh.   ;)

I’m happy because I received my income tax return!  ;D  When I checked my bank balance tonight, there it was!  It’s a comfort to know I have a nice little pile of money to fall back on in case something goes wrong with the surgery and I have to be out longer then I thought.  Not that I’m worried about anything going wrong.  Still, I will be very glad when I come home from the hospital.

They say we might go down into the lower 30’s on Friday.  Can you say COLD?????

The class today was ok.   It got me out of the office and that was the best part.

Oh, and I beg to differ with DR Elmore.  You could not have possibly been in London last night because you were in NY.  Times Square to be exact.  At least that’s where you were in my dream.   :)

Oh, and I also happen to like fruitcake so you can toss some my way as well!

Have a wonderful evening all!

Is this a slow news day here at haineshisway.com?  You'd think it was Souper Bowl Sunday - well, it's not, so let's get off our complacent butt cheeks and get some postin' goin' on.

Hi Jennifer.  I agree you might like HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, for a different reason than Matt H.  Keith and I enjoy it and we found last night’s episode very funny.

I'm back from work, and waiting for der B to return from his ladsitting duties.

Wasn't that exciting news!

I have not watched AMERICAN IDOL, but I did just order the CD of INDIAN IDOL 2.  I very much enjoyed the first cd.

I've not caught up yet but Judy Collins also sang  "I Remember" - same album as "Green Finch and Linnet bird".
Geraldine Turner's Sondheim album also has the song as does Cleo Laine's.

Why does this not surprise me?

Today's strange but true fact o' the day:  someone in Pakistan found my Farmer article because they were searching for the syndicated late 50s Lloyd Nolan series Special Agent 7.  Lloyd was always huge in Pakistan, as I'm sure you all knew.

If today was Judy Garland's birthday she would be 84.  But it's not so she isn't.

The IRS website says: "There is a problem with your refund."  So I don't know when my money will be around.

If you go to www.irs.gov and click on Where's My Refund, you can find out the answer....you MUST know your filing status, your social security number, and the dollar amount of your refund.

I read CENTER SQUARE a "bio" of Paul Lynde today.  It was very depressing, besides being badly written.
