And NBC is bringing back DEAL OR NO DEAL for another week of shows before settling into its Monday at 8 permanent timeslot.

It's a simple premise behind the show, but darn if it's not addictive to watch once you tune in!

Yes DR BEN - both Lucy Ricardo and Ethel Mertz were fond of saying: "Oh, Fred."  It was a multi purpose statement that they could use with an infinite variety of nuances.

Jessica Rush & Mr Guy Haines singing "Past My Prime" - ah yes....I think my review of the CD at Amazon.com expresses my view of that track!

Favorite sayings - both from my grandparents:

"Every tub sits on its on bottom."  How can you argue with THAT logic?

and:

"Hold her, Newt, she's headed for the rhubarb!"

Hiya - a little overcast and feels like rain today - yes, Virginia, one CAN predict the weather using nothing but one's hip joints... oy.

Slightly recovered from Saturday - but I feel so danged weary... it's the weather, isn't it.

A good day to stay in and learn yet-another monologue, do some laundry, maybe even make the bed... no! I know! I'll take a nap!! That'll be so fun! Weary, I tell ya...

DR CILLA LIZ - I would think that if you stack liquor boxes, Spam boxes, and boxes from Hallmark out by the street - your new neighbors would surmise that you were someone who doesn't cook, someone who reads the Playboy Bartender's Guide, and someone who cares enough to send the VERY best!

DR PENNYO - your avatar is SO glamourous.  It looks like one of those George Hurrell photos - or one of those Avedon photos of Dorian Lee or Suzy Parker!

Yesterday, DR George posted:

Quote
Well, I just put all of my musicals on CD in alphabetical order.  It took me about three hours!  I have 14 shelves with approximately 2" 9' of CDs on each shelf.  That's 38 and a half feet of CDs!  And those are only my musicals!

That's what I did today.  Just had to share.

Der Brucer scoffs whenever I get caught up on our filing, for DVDs and CDs.  And yes, I alphabetize.  He also doesn't appreciate my including opera with the musicals.  Well, it's all staged and acted music, dang it!  They belong together!  Enough of this elitism!

DR GEORGE congratulations on the ABC'ing of your musicals.  It is so practical!  Which letter do you have the  most of?

I think the J's and S's are my most numerous....though the T's are close.

Normally, I'm not either which I why I was so surprised I got hooked on it the couple of times I watched it in December when NBC did this same stunt.

Just read TV GUIDE's Matt Roush's preview of the two hour season premiere, and he was giddy with praise. You fans sound like you're in for a treat.

I find watching it to be only slightly less torturous than watching an "American Idol" elimination show.
