My absence yesterday!!

Derek's Bears went to visit friends (of theirs and Derek's) in the Spa town of Daylesford, (About three hours drive away).  At one stage we thought our plans were being derailed.  The trains only run on Sundays there we had to settle for ice-cream instead of a train ride.

Dear Reader TPunk, I wrote a couple papers called "Redwall: When Rodents Attack" and "Two Guys, Two Birds, and Not Enough Prozac."

If you sneak into your paper a sentence about F. Scott Fitzgerald, I will mail you a box of cookies.

Derailed or without... rails?!

Love the bears!

I guess you could star in a Disney remake of The Bears & I! :D

Depending on the direction the train goes, the city's name can read:

Drofselyad!!

It sure does not sound Irish!

I can't wait for "Two Guys, Two Birds and Not Enough Prozac" to open on Broadway! :D

Unless it's the Oz version:

"Two Guys, Four Bears and Not Enough Ice Cream"... and i'm not taking you for a ride! :)

Oh, oh! This is NOT PC at all!
(Nor Apple, by the way!)

Like kids, I tell you! ;)

Such behavior is unbearable!

I like the way the other bears keep ignoring him!

Well, hiya. I had a lovely conference-with-foodstuffs with our BK - we went to the Marie Callender's not far from his home. He ate a burger, bacon, cheese, fried onion rings (I snagged one o' those, I tell ya); I had a salad with baby field greens, pecans, a little Gorgonzola, a few dried cranberries. Yummmmmm. We tried to eat a piece of pie after - just couldn't do it.

With a few deft words, and one scene placed at the end, the play is fixed. I'll do the rewrites in the next week - it will be very easy. Then I'll do a read thru with Bruce and a couple of other actors - see how it reads - then either commit to a production in October, or not. Huzzah, I love this!!

Anyhoo, Bruce went to the showers thence to the show. And I'm here at my sister's place. Jane called while we were in the restaurant. And that's the news, kidz.

Friends Dale and Ian to the rescue!
I think the Spa water got the Bears " high"!

There were nine Germans at the Spa.

I spend quite a bit of my time in their company.

Well, I'm off to my parents' house for dinner and dessert.  Dessert is something called Chocolate Lush.  I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but a friend of mine here at work wants the recipe.  I found it on-line HERE[/color].  This particular website can automatically adjust the recipe for you, depending on the number of servings you want!  I've never seen that before. ;D

Well here it is:

on the London Record Label:  Mantovani Continental Encores!  ;D

Oh yes DRFRANCOIS I would imagine that the Florida Salvation Army Stores and Goodwill Stores would be treasure chests of items!

Notice the gentleman's gallant tipping of the hat, the corsage, the lush draperies and furnishings...and finally milady's haute couture dress.  Single strap of fabric flowers, gathered at the waist, a pleated balloon skirt with fitted hem....dress is green and blue chiffons criss-crossed at the bodice, matching green low heeled shoes and evening bag.  Opera length gloves and rainbow earrings complete the ensemble.  8)

I am not sure where they are going since the gentleman is NOT wearing evening dress, or perhaps they are going to his flat so that he can change and he is picking her up on the way.  ;D

At any rate, his walking stick is certainly positioned at a jaunty angle.  :o

DRMBARNUM my Marcy Sings Sunday School Songs album cover has been posted before, I think.  Little Marcy looks as if at any moment she could turn carnivore.

That's the LA MANCHA lp, DR FRANCOIS.  And it's a bit strange because one of the LP's is on the American Decca label, and the other one is on the London Decca label!  I have never seen that before!

Am I the only one shocked (I tell you, SHOCKED) at this news?

Wasn't there something about a race to see who could lose 10 lbs. first?

Well...Penny-O spilled some beans here, let me say....
