Where is the I LOVE LUCY Season Six box set?  I know that Desi Arnaz sold the first five years to CBS, but since VIACOM/Paramount has been broadcasting all six seasons, don't they have the DVD rights?  Maybe not.

It's coming. I can't remember the date, but I did read about it coming up this year.

We got a lot of work done this morning, and some new parts, which means I have to head back in in a little bit and do some more wood-shedding.

I'm really curious about the term underlined above...and its usage here.

Despite the fact that it could be misconstrued as a euphemism for something quite different, I'm guessing it's far more practical...and innocuous.

I've always heard it in reference to learning something in a short amount of time.  Sort of like a compressed rehearsal period.

I've only heard it in reference to barbershop singing...when they "woodshop," a bunch of guys (or gals) improvise barbershop chords/parts on a song and make up everything.  Basically, a barbershop jam session. :)

The week that Paula got mad at Simon and moved to the end of the table away from him was her best week ever as a judge. Having to lead off the proceedings, she couldn't just parrot Randy but had to come up with comments first, and she was surprisingly good that week.

Paula was totally obnoxious last night...all that slapping of Simon and trying to drown him out...he NEVER does that to her when she's critiquing.

She's really out of control....

I agree. I guess the producers just don't want to rock the boat. Last night's show was the highest rated in the history of the series (apart from the finales).

Wednesday greetings!  I don't have much to say, just checking in.

DR Joy - glad to see you back from the wedding.  Did everyone remember that the day belonged to the bride and groom?

Just read that actor Britt Lomond died this morning. Fans of TV's Zorro will remember him well.

Tonight I have date with George (from South Beach) as he is driving through town on his way back home from his mom's house in Portland. We are going to  go out for dinner, but I don't know where just yet....sort of a drive-thru dinner date I guess.

Hiya, all!

I just read through yesterday's posts, and see some questions from DR's George, TCB and Jose about the show this Saturday night...

I was Artistic Director of the Radost Folk Ensemble from 1999-2001 - Radost is the Northwest's premiere ethnic music and dance ensemble. I produced their 25th Anniversary CD, HEIRLOOM. Since then, I have also served as chorusmaster and tech advisor, auctioneer for 4 of their annual fundraising auctions, blahblahblah.

So they called me a couple of weeks ago, and asked if I would Stage Manage this 30th Anniversary Concert at Kane Hall on Saturday night. But there are other problems I will be dealing with - one of them: the Bulgarians' interminable costume changes. I solved this problem yesterday, during my shower...

Ahhh, the mental image that statement brought to mind...

ASK BK DAY

BK, did you ever watch THE RED TENT?  I believe I am the only person I know who liked that film, which means it would probably be perfect for MBarnum and Rodzinski.

I am looking forward to "Lost" tonight.

Since I plan on going online when I get home and suss out who goes home from the IdolonFox messageboards, I've no reason to waste any time watching the show when it conflicts with "Lost."

The Bob Newhart Show

Thanks, Dan (the Man). Maybe I'll buy it and watch it when the rest of the family goes to family reunion this summer. I can play "Hi Bob" with Hershey kisses.
