My basement troubles are quite mundane however when I consider the issues many of my dear HHW friends here are dealing with so I shall try to keep my moaning and dripping (oh dear that really was an unintentional pun) to a minimum... ok its too late for that, I'll try not to exceed the recommended daily allowance then..... and please know that you are all,  especially you Danise and Mom, TCB, OZDerek's dear friends and family, Elmore's dad and Maria's Dear Daughter in my thoughts and prayers

Vibes to all.  Indeed Vixmum; things are put into perspective.
I wonder that you did not call in Charlton Heston to help. I remember he managed a much larger problem with the Red Sea.

I was afraid he might shoot something

TCB - best thoughts your way, you Hipster, you! Hope the new doc is a wizard. Let's put platinum in there... wow. You are brave and cheerful. I don't know if I could do that. But you are a wonderful example, honey.

Maria - I hope everything is okay with the DD - hoping it's just something like a wart. Maybe a lip enhancement. Hangnail would be okay.

Today I paid $3.17 for regular... and that was the cheapest Icould find. most places are charging $3.25 - $3.30 for regular... of course that was as of 7 PM tonight by tomorrow monring I am sure it will be higher

Today at Costco, regular unleaded gas was $2.79.  I must get some soon, before it gets much higher!

Well, tonight I start house-and-cat-sitting where I've house-and-cat-sat before.  It used to be the house with no computer, but the owners have gotten a new computer and said that I can use it!!  I hope I have the paper where I wrote down the password...I might have left it at work.  Anyway, as soon as I finish posting, I'll head over to the house.  I have all my stuff packed up (including my region-code-free DVD player, because they don't have a DVD player at all).  I'll be h-&-c-s for three weeks!  I just have to make sure that I'm extra attentive to my own cat during the times when I'm at my home.

And today from Amazon.co.uk, I got two DVDs:  the London cast productions of Jerry Springer:  The Opera with David Soul (although the cover is what is shown on Footlight.com) and the three-disc DVD set of Taboo, by Boy George.  I remember some time ago, Donald Feltham played excerpts from the Broadway cast recording with Raul Esparza and I really enjoyed them.  For some reason, I never bought that CD, and have now finally (only) bought the DVD.  We'll see how it is. :)

Thanks to all for the Vibes for DD! I'm very touched by your concern. I'll let her know -- but, of course, she's probably feeling the wave of good thoughts coming her way without any words from me.

DR George - I'd recommend playing both DVDs at home -  whilst you are at work.

Of course, the WUSSBURGERS, who are plentiful, do not care whether we achieve that number of posts or not.
