I had to get a urine sample from Poe following the course of antibiotics he completed a few days ago, and after 19 hours in jail (a.k.a. my bathroom) he finally gave. So now I can drop it off soon, which is wonderful because they’re only open till noon on Saturday.
And that, my friends, is what makes my Saturday morning. None of this ushering at 7:30 am or putting my tender parts in a vice stuff. No sir, just some good old fashioned cat pee success. By God, do I know how to live, or what?
I am so sorting hear about your accident , Jane. We must wrap you in bubble wrap before letting you out in the world
Yesterday was exhausting and annoying and miserable and I don't want to talk about it anymore
I decided it would be a good day to have a stranger put tender parts of my body into a vise and try to close it
More vibes to vixmom!
I suspect there were some bipolar bear sightings, too. or is that insensitive to say in 2018?
Keith has left and due to a staff drill my hair appointment has been delayed half an hour. While waiting I looked up the passenger who is an orthopedic surgeon and kindly came to my rescue.
I know he is sharp and he certainly has the credentials to prove it.
It is frightening to think of the progressive damage to my elbow wearing g only the bandage wrap the ship's doctor originally put on.
DR elmore a sterile, more accurate sample, can be done at the office. Of course collecting it at home is free.

You still have to buy the non-absorbing litter kit and pay for the lab test. You also have to have an extra litter pan that's absolutely clean, and a way to segregate the cats until the appropriate donation is made. So it is indeed a LOT easier (on the owner) AND more accurate if the vet can take the sample at the office. And that depends a lot on the cat on that particular day. :) When it works, it's worth the extra bucks.

Litter? We just lined the box with a plastic bag to collect the pre. I stopped doing it though after the results were shown, incorrectly, to be normal. I insisted the cat was having a problem and sure enough when the vet took the sample it was far from normal.

Our vet gives us a small package of this: http://www.kit4cat.com/
(Wait, did I say "gives"?) :)
But the test results were good and no indication for further tests at this time
After this long period of next to no work, I have three projects to work on this weekend, so I won't be going far from my work table this weekend.
Vibes of all kinds for vixmom!
I recall a lot of bare sightings at the gym (back in the day), and even some bare bear sightings, but never a polar bear sighting.

Back from stuff, packages, something to tide me over till dinner, and like that. Oh, and 70%.
I found a great way to deal with heartburn and acid reflux. I now keep some alkaline water on hand and drink a small glass (3-4 oz) of it whenever heartburn hits. The conventional advice is to drink water to dilute the acid, but tap water--even filtered tap water--is slightly acid, so it's a less than perfect choice. Alkaline water works much better! Many stores sell it now. My Trader Joe's sells a large bottle of it for $1.50. I find that it helps immediately.

Congrats on the work, Larry!

I am off to see Paul Schrader's FIRST REFORMED, including a Q&A with same, at the renovated and soon-to-be-publicly-opened Bedford Playhouse.
Rest easy John McCain , your fight is over
George, where is it hot?
This is the coolest day we have had since June 10.
My dear friend, Jim, who passed away in March was a good friend of the senator.
Ironically, they both passed away short of their 82nd birthdays.
The heavy smoke is due back on Monday.
I was going to do some shopping and then maybe go someplace to eat, but instead I got my car washed then came to Happy Teriyaki. I guess I'll go shopping after eating. ;)
