After being out yesterday morning for therapy, I did not want to schlep around Radio City to the same temperatures. I look forward to seeing the rockefeller Center Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.

Last evening my book group met at a new member’s home in the South Main historic district. We talked about our favorite non-club reads of 2019.

No the picture would not post, then my iPad froze then I lost my internet connection so I gave up and went to bed

I’m a little better. Thanks for asking. Carol has gone out for aspirin because I have a splitting headache. But I slept off and on for about 15 hours. It helped.

I rely on the corner bodega for a lot of things because I pass it on my way from the bus stop, but sometimes you need a supermarket and I do. When I moved into this apartment, the big Barnes & Noble across Broadway was a supermarket, and my bank on the other corner was a McDonalds. I do miss them.

Going to see the tree on Christmas Eve sounds wonderful.

We’re not getting above freezing till Sunday or Monday, and though you can’t really call the low forties a thaw in this area, a few days of that should at least clear the damned driveway.

Yes. The mail arrived sometime after 4:30. I just brought it up, and I will open it with my Christmas cards on Christmas morning.

The box has gotten quite a work out recently. A few words of outraged complaint and the use of the magic phrase “put of sight out of weather” in the right ears seems to have done the trick

They texted the moron driver who doesn't think he has to respond to texts, it would seem. They've called UPS who say they'll contact the driver, who, moron that he is, probably won't respond to them either. They suggested I call Amazon. I did, but they say we have to wait until Monday, but how can the screw-up be on THEIR end if they sent the package and the trajectory of the package shows up clearly in the tracking information? Most irritating and clearly I won't be getting this delivered package today OR tomorrow, since UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday.

It does tastse like hamburger, a too well done one and something I have never missed eating. Craig really likes them and also likes Beyond Burgers.

Today the jaw of one caught on the collar of the other and just about strangled her to death. My friend's wife found them just in time & was able to cut off the collar and resuscitated her.

They are home recovering after a trip to the vet. Sadly the injured dog is afraid of her sister.

They will never wear collars inside the house again.

I hope both dogs will recover from the trauma.

It came so close. There was only a faint heartbeat when his wife found the dog. They still need to watch her carefully.

Yes, everyone will be getting a note, and certain actors will get private specific notes. I was actually appalled. About ten minutes before the end of act one, everyone seemed to finally realize what was going on and notched up the energy, so there were actually laughs. And the pre-show speech had the audience ready to laugh - I got them laughing and they couldn't wait for the show to start. And then, everything was a beat off, the energy was in the floor, and all the usual laughs were greeted with silence. A family of three left after act one, and frankly I don't blame them.
