My goodness, it’s Friday.

Which can only mean one thing:  we’re back at the show tonight.

Two more weeks to go, with three shows each.

I probably should start thinking about Christmas shopping, shouldn't I?

After today I have 3 at-home days of wrapping and baking.  This afternoon I see my cardiologist for a follow-up to last month’s cath and tonight a 50th anniversary party for Lynn and Bill.

Tell them I send my love and best wishes!

Kitty cleanup is finished.  The three not-so-little kittens ate their tuna, and Stella has been hanging around me in hopes I'll give her a smackerel or two.

DR JohnG, how are you feeling?

I’m a little better. Thanks for asking. Carol has gone out for aspirin because I have a splitting headache. But I slept off and on for about 15 hours. It helped.

And I have an appetite of sorts. Had two slices of sourdough rye with butter.

I wish we had a close supermarket.  I rely on the corner bodega for a lot of things because I pass it on my way from the bus stop, but sometimes you need a supermarket and I do.  When I moved into this apartment, the big Barnes & Noble across Broadway was a supermarket, and my bank on the other corner was a McDonalds.  I do miss them.

I moved my barber appointment from today to next Tuesday when the temperatures should be in the 40s.  After being out yesterday morning for therapy, I did not want to schlep around Radio City to the same temperatures.  I look forward to seeing the rockefeller Center Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.

Going to see the tree on Christmas Eve sounds wonderful.

We’re not getting above freezing till Sunday or Monday, and though you can’t really call the low forties a thaw in this area, a few days of that should at least clear the damned driveway.

I wonder what Broadway shows she will be closing in 2020?

I will do that, DR Elmore.  The Bucherts also have a 50th next week and their daughter has organized a secret card drive for them.  Would you like their address?

No, thanks.  I'm not feeling up to wandering the Upper West Side for an anniversary card.

Rob has come here to sleep a couple of days this week, because there have been daytime house showings.  One of the things he’s looking forward to about his job in Chicago is that he will work days.

Wonderful. Fortunately Bryan stills enjoys the night shift.
