The drive by shower was most excellent!
We drove right there.....several cars were parked and folks were walking about.....so we got out.
It was so nice to see my baby brother and his wife and nephew Grant and his wife Lynsie.....they are all so happy. Lynsie's mom and sister did the decorations.....a very nice gift table....and BIG sign that said Grayson Wayne - the baby's name....
Balloons and streamers.....not TOO much....it was just right.
I asked Grant where he got the name and he pointed to his shirt that had a lot of Batman logos on it.....and I said oh.....Dick Grayson and Bruce Wayne.....and he said YES.
I guess I am the only one besides his brother Garrett who had made the connection....LOL
Has anyone ever attempted to do a master Hitchcock box set, including everything? Or would that be too difficult due to studios and rights?
The bathroom is cleaned. The door is closed so the cats cannot walk in the pinesol and other cleaning materials. Their litterbox is in the hall and the curiosity over the closed off bathroom is at a fever pitch.
Leonard is hard to photograph. He moves his head away just as the camera clicks.
To continue with my story about Neve's ashes from last night since I was so rudely interrupted by the day change. ;)
My niece wants to bury Neve's ashes in her back yard with the ashes of her other cats. That's also fine with me, but I don't know if that box should be buried. I have to figure out what to do about all of that. We're all getting together tomorrow for our family lunch/dinner/Phase 10 playing, so I'll bring the box and the paw prints and we'll talk.
The end. :)

I have a friend who also LOVES Batman so much that his wife allowed him to get the Batman logo on his wedding ring! :o
;D
I bought Leonard a two-pack of those flopping fish toys. He played with one while the other one charged up. I gave him one after it charged up. He looked at it and walked away. Hasn't paid attention to it since.
I gave the other one to Sandra. Magdalena chases hers all over. She carries it to the top of the stairs and plays with it as it flops down.
I removed two hours' worth of dead shrubs early this morning. My back was aching quite a bit.
I don't know if I mentioned it yesterday, but the City Yard Police drove by while I was working there yesterday. He slowed down and watched me working. I expect we'll get a citation in the mail in a couple of days.
I just wonder if unsubscribing from one email address doesn't generate email from another.
I am loving all this talk about cats. There can never be enough cats.
No question about it, DR elmore3003. Those pitties are cute.
I got out for my first extended walk since being discharged. It felt good to get outside, and to move. I plan to be doing a lot more of this going forward.
At least as long as weather permits.
Good afternoon! I am done with my duties at church for the day, went to Trader Joes, stopped by Mom's to drop off cappuccino popsicles - her favorite - and had a great conversation. Saw some other relatives as well and had lovely conversations. Then I had to get home to fill out the rental application as I got a text form the manager saying that there were others interested and I should get it in ASAP. So, it's in, the fee is paid, and now we wait.
Sunday has turned into a work day it seems. But then again, with Distance Learning and such, every day has turned into a work day as we are constantly working! All good, of course. Seriously, what else would be doing??
We are watching a documentary on Netflix about Steit's matzo.
Good afternoon.
Sandra and I met Wae-Ling in the park. She rode her bike over. It didn't take long to catch up on the last six months; none of us have really done anything.
The application has been approved, and the boys and I are officially moving at the end of November.
But it was good to see her.

Today was supposed to me a Me Day, but it didn't work out that way. Last week I dropped off my tax documents to my relatively new accountant. I'd tried to get everything done and delivered before my surgery, but didn't quite make it. Once I'd recovered sufficiently to resume work I thought I was a bit further along in the process than I actually was and overlooked some things. I go to a lot of trouble to provide accurate information to my accountants--one told me I went to too much trouble--but I was in a hurry to get it done. I would have thought that the accountant would have caught it, as there was no way that one of the documents could have been correct. It appears that he missed it. This disturbs me. He's an accountant! I called him on Friday, but he didn't return my call.
I spent several hours today, reviewing the numbers and looking up old records. I now have what I need--the correct numbers. But I am annoyed. I really hoped he'd work out. I've had so much trouble with accountants, from bad attitudes to errors to insulting remarks. I know what I need to do: I need to bone up on tax accounting and get my records organized. I know where the problems often arise and I need to take the time to cover those areas. I suspect these guys are just blindly copying numbers from one form into their computer, without thinking. Ugh!

“My” pew is the first pew on the left (as you’re facing the altar) right at the aisle . I was very pleased it hadn’t been taped off and I could sit in my accustomed seat
Our Pastor became teary when addressing the congregation
A good many of us followed suit
When I went to the dr yesterday I was quite unhappy with what the scale showed
If I can get my act together in the mornings I’m going to try to walk back and forth to work every day (weather permitting)
I’m also hoping if I lose some weight I’ll feel more energetic
Very nice DR GEORGE....thank you for the photos.
DR George - hugs to you. Thank you for sharing the photos and news about Neve.
DR George, I really admired your offer to Neve's original owner. The photos were lovely as your gesture.
I also got sidetracked looking over notes from two wonderful men who read my Annabelle & Thatch book and sent their thoughts. Since I am fully aware that one man's whimsy is another man's poison, I am happy to know they enjoyed it.
I have been trying to unsubscribe from any number of emails that I don't need right now, especially the ones involving travel. I can always go back later, but I don't need to be reminded of what I cannot do.
Hugs to DR George. I like that you had the paw prints made for Neve's original owner.
My fifth floor neighbors Ann and Jen came by and climbed the ladder to put away the new delivery of cat food for me. It was nice to see them. They also brought me an apple cake to thank mne for holding their packages while they were away.

Back from ushering. It was a showing of Moana. I was stationed in the mezzanine, and we had no patrons up there. So, I sat and watched the movie. It was enjoyable. The audience down on the orchestra level applauded when it was over.
MELIORISM is my favorite character in 110 in the Shade.

We started The Mephisto Waltz, but will have to finish it tomorrow. So far it is not at all what I was expecting.
Tom, is Sasha home?
A microchip is important. Did you go visit her today?
Hopefully tomorrow. Has she been spayed or will you need to take care if that?

Nope, she is all taken care of on that front.
Well, this is not good...‘Murder hornets’ invading U.S. are about to enter ‘slaughter phase’ (https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/environment/murder-hornets-invading-u-s-are-about-to-enter-slaughter-phase/). :o
Six “murder hornets,” as they’re sometimes called, have been caught, trapped or reported since Sept. 21 in the Blaine [Washington] area, where they were first spotted in the U.S. last year.
