And I had forgotten Cliff Gorman was in this, which reminded me of all the "Boys in the Band" talk this weekend.

Hilarious scene I had forgotten. An unknown David Rasche walks into a restaurant, sees beautiful but recently dumped Jill Clayburgh at the coat check and gives her his suave, "Hello." She doesn't even look at him, just mutters "F--- you" and walks out.

Good afternoon.

Sandra and I met Wae-Ling in the park. She rode her bike over. It didn't take long to catch up on the last six months; none of us have really done anything.

Congrats to DR Matthew on his new abode. I was concerned that the management might not want to wait until the end of November for your move-in. Glad it worked out.

Today was supposed to me a Me Day, but it didn't work out that way. Last week I dropped off my tax documents to my relatively new accountant. I'd tried to get everything done and delivered before my surgery, but didn't quite make it. Once I'd recovered sufficiently to resume work I thought I was a bit further along in the process than I actually was and overlooked some things. I go to a lot of trouble to provide accurate information to my accountants--one told me I went to too much trouble--but I was in a hurry to get it done. I would have thought that the accountant would have caught it, as there was no way that one of the documents could have been correct. It appears that he missed it. This disturbs me. He's an accountant! I called him on Friday, but he didn't return my call.

I spent several hours today, reviewing the numbers and looking up old records. I now have what I need--the correct numbers. But I am annoyed. I really hoped he'd work out. I've had so much trouble with accountants, from bad attitudes to errors to insulting remarks. I know what I need to do: I need to bone up on tax accounting and get my records organized. I know where the problems often arise and I need to take the time to cover those areas. I suspect these guys are just blindly copying numbers from one form into their computer, without thinking. Ugh!

Finished one motion picture and will begin another after the eating of two hot dogs, which will bring the calorie count up to about 940 calories.  Maybe an apple later, but we'll see.

Sunday evening greetings!  I accompanied Richard, via Zoom, to church in Dayton this morning.  Then we had our traditional Sunday lunch of fried egg sandwiches with bacon on the side.  We watched the Cincinnati Bengals win - finally - and had a nice, but too short, video chat with Charlotte and her Dad.  I've been curating craft supplies all evening.

Darn, sorry about your new accountant.  I would guess they are just transferring your information to the computer, something you might be able to do yourself.

I am listening to "The Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allan Poe.  Listening as well as possible with my hearing.  I should have gotten a copy of the story to read along with.

“My” pew is the first pew on the left (as you’re facing the altar) right at the aisle .  I was very pleased it hadn’t been taped off and I could sit in my accustomed seat

We were asked not to congregate afterwards and when the service was over we were asked to stay seated until our pew was dismissed
