Well, you've read the notes, the notes had Kritzerland releases, and now it is time for you to post until the Kritzerland cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ERUDITE!
-
Well, it certainly was an exciting day, yesterday. ::) And the excitement's not over! Hopefully, it won't devolve into the wrong kind of excitement. But now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
At 11:00 last night I said genug ist genug and went to bed. I spent the evening channel surfing between CBS, CNN, and MSNBC; the CNN man with the map was driving me insane slipping back to the 2016 election to compare voting percentages.
-
While I remain hopeful for Biden-Harris I am very disappointed that the huge Blue Sweep I had hoped for didn't happen and that so many so many fools continue to support the Fat Orange Slug.
-
The one good thing? The eternal request for campaign donations will stop for a while. I was getting guilt trips from the DNC that "you haven't given us any money yet" through last night.
-
I have no idea what my plans are for today. I do need to drag out the vacuum, and beyond that, who knows?
-
the notes had Kritzerland releases,
I'm not sure whether it's an update on my side or Kritzerland's payment system, but paying by PayPal was so much easier than I remember it being.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Love that Irving Berlin Revisited and everything I’ve heard from Lolita, My Love.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Kitty cleanup is finished, and I'm happy that Annabelle's URI seems to be clearing up.
-
I've ordered Lolita, My Love. I have a complete performance, and I know this Kritzerland release will be in much much better sound. I trust you, BK!
-
Worst news this morning? McConnell and Graham won their elections. How could any fool vote for these two pieces of shit?
-
Good morning!

It is definitely shocking. :(
-
I need to resume outdoors work today, and for the next few days. There’s much cutting, blowing, and trimming to do. Hmm. I’d probably be saying the same if I were running a hair salon.

Shocking and dispiriting.

I need to achieve so many things around the apartment, but I'm physically incapable at the moment. I have two louvered doors that were sloppily installed before I moved in and I would love to be rid of. My stupidest mistake of October 2020 was not letting the refrigerator delivery men remove them when they offered last week. It was too late and I just wanted to restock the fridge.

I wonder if they’re similar to one of the closet doors in this house, which was also sloppily installed. What is up with that kind of thing, anyway?

Cheap 1960s-1970s NY construction in my case. My building is actually a jointure of 202 and 204 West 82nd Street into one building, and it wasn't performed by the topnotch construction company.

Kritzerland Order is IN.
I could only afford one - so I chose LOLITA, MY LOVE.

Wednesday - I haven't been on Facebook yet this morning. I probably won't spend too much time there today.
-
I stayed off Facebook all day yesterday and last night except for checking my notifications in the banner a few times in case there was anything of a personal nature to know about.
This morning I browsed just the top part of my news feed, dropping a few likes on BK’s and DR Elmore’s posts, then beating the hell out of there.
-

I am not shocked.

Wednesday - I haven't been on Facebook yet this morning. I probably won't spend too much time there today.
Since I just started really using it when I was in Miami and what I could access at the hotel was limited, I haven't figured out blocking certain types of posts without insulting the blocked person. So just this week, I started only going from the Notifications.
-
Or groups where BK is a member - those are always very easygoing. :)
BK - Actually, it does seem that you get a lot of appreciation on facebook for what you do, at least in the two groups Forgotten Musicals and Cast Recordings.
-
I get the sense that some of what John Yap does upsets some people there. It almost reads like he has a store of recordings that he's sitting on and people are bothered because while he's holding them back, they just stay unavailable because no one else would risk doing that material.
-
Verizon seems to have a significant cell service outage going on over the past hour. Don't know how extensive it is, but certainly in the Northeast.
-
I'm sorry, that's the most exciting news I've got.
-
Good Morning. I was up too late last night. I heard the current President give his speech, which was abominable - full of lies and falsehoods - and then I went to bed. Disappointed by how close the race is continuing to be, but hopeful that blue will win. While I understand the victory of 4 years ago, I don't understand why the race is so close at the moment and how many people still support our current president. IF he did the job without all the playground language and behavior, I may be able to see it, but as a representative of our country, he has failed.

Maybe not shocked that a divided country would vote this way. But I am personally shocked that so many people would vote for someone who has done so much harm.

Today is National Stress Awareness Day. I am very aware of how stressed I am. Thank you very much.
-
It doesn’t help that the house across the street is having a new roof installed. Lots o’ hammering and noise.
-
I'm not feeling so good today. NOT Covid related, I am sure.
I think I shall lie down until later......after all I have that Kubrick scene to reshoot this evening.

If you had as much experience dealing with a pathological liar as I have you would not be too surprised. It was shocking what people who knew me were willing to believe.

More like Stress Eat the Leftover Halloween Candy Day.

I'm up, I'm up - a little over eight hours of sleep. Nice orders to wake up too.

I am glad I don't have any. I did enough stress eating yesterday, which is doubly bad when simply eating makes you sick. :P

I know. Imagine if your spouse liked him or your children. I have read some sad stories.

When I first learned about the Civil War and how it tore families apart I couldn't understand why relationships were destroyed forever. I am very grateful the most important people in my life feel as I do.

It is rather good timing.

What truly baffles me are the Cubans in Florida giving Trump their support.
-
DR Laura I saw this cute add and thought your grandson might like these, if he doesn't already have something like it.

BK - is there an original cast album of Lolita My Love?
-
To de-stress last night we turned on an episode of the Andy Griffith Show. It was perfect as our friend Flip Mark was in this episode. Keith took a photo off of our tv and I just messaged it to him. For some reason I couldn't send it last night through my iPhone and had to do it on my computer today.

-
Matthew, no there was not cast album for Lolita, My Love.
-
Thanks DR JANE.
-
I have been thinking about DR VIXMOM all day.
Perhaps one of your neighbors has a security camera or one of those doorbell cameras and got some footage of the person who did that horrible deed.
-
A Page Three Suggestion.
And of course by asking them, you would also be letting them know that you were not responsible - which I doubt they think so anyway.
-
DR Laura, I am very proud of your state and thoroughly embarrassed by the great number of fools living in mine.

Very nice. I first heard the song with The Manhattan Transfer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEhjyuDZjGU)'s version. :)
-
The ground beef was indeed bad, so threw that out and made hot dogs (three) instead - but one with mustard and onions, and two with red cabbage and cheese - less calories to not do the chili and I have 350 calories to play with for later, so maybe some chips and salsa or maybe one of the 300 calorie frozen dinners.

Yes. I first heard it from them, too. It’s just such a lush song. Slow and sweet.

Has anyone read The Authenticity Project? Enjoying it very much.

My Internet connection has been spotty today. Irritating.

Excellent. Was it timed to the day after Election Day, I wonder. :)

Did I miss discussion of this Nissan Altima commercial?

It looks like the second guy's wife is getting ready to leave, doesn't it?

Don’t get me started about mine.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
I am worn out! I'm sure many of you feel the same way. At least it's almost over.
-
I wasn't in the mood to run my 99 Cent Store errand, so I did laundry instead. Then I treated myself to food from Julie's, the good vegan Italian place. Now I'm relaxing and winding down.

Stress reduction vibes to all who need them!
TTFN.

Right now, AP is reporting 264 to 214!

How's that for a stress-reliever? ;)

Power went out for about a minute. Resetting clocks time.

As I often do I felt nauseated after eating breakfast and didn't eat much the rest of the day. I have eaten dinner and am now non functioning, on the bed and using a heating pad since the stomach pain moves into my back. Hopefully I will return later.

More than 100,000 new covid cases for today and the day's tally isn't over yet. And more than 1,000 deaths. Although 8% of those come from Texas, which is due to top 1 million in a few days, the cases are up in all areas of the country. Just sad.
-
My sister Annaliese, who has been taking care of Mom, told me today that her husband works with someone who got tested today. if that person is positive, then Mike has to self-quarantine for 14 days. I don't know how that will affect things. Obviously Annaliese doesn't need to bring that near Mom. So, will she quarantine from her husband for that long?
-

I would like to extend equally warm sentiments to DR Ginny’s home state.

The only one who could possibly have a “ring “ that could film that is the trumpeter directly across the street, for all I know it was done by him

Interesting bit of tid: I'm in touch with the original gal who played Lolita in the musical and who was fired out of town - Annette Ferra she went by then. I'm hoping to do an interview with her for the Kritzerland site. She tells me there are lots of interesting stories.

We had a tree guy here today to take down a 40 foot tree that was going to fall either on on house, our pool, our our neighbors if we got hit with another very bad wind storm
He kindly went up in his bucket to see if he could remove the offending article but the wind had wound it so tightly around the electrical wires that it wasn’t safe to attempt it so I may be stuck with this thing for a very long time
-
Last night, I added Lolita, My Love (http://castalbums.org/recordings/Lolita-My-Love-1971-Boston-Cast/2247#68728) and Irving Berlin Revisited (http://castalbums.org/recordings/Irving-Berlin-Revisited-Various-Artists/7020#68729) to CastAlbums.org (http://castalbums.org/). :)

I am glad your pain is lessening, DR Jane. How distressing.

This is me.

I am glad your pain is lessening, DR Jane. How distressing.
Thanks. It is something I have had to deal with since I was a child. Frustrating is I had gotten better control over it and had fewer bouts the last few years. The last few months have been very bad with painful debilitating bouts again.
-
This is me.
Good idea.

I’m please to announce that the audio version of my one-woman play, MAUREEN O’HARA, is now available for download at Amazon, Audible.com and iTunes.
Kathleen Godwin, who has previously recorded several of my plays (IDA LUPINO, etal), outdoes herself with this audio performance. She brings Maureen O’Hara to life in the radio play-like production, which is enhanced with music and sound effects.
A frequent co-star of John Wayne and a favorite of director John Ford (despite their “difficult" relationship), Maureen O’Hara’s film credits includeTHE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY, RIO GRANDE, THE QUIET MAN and THE PARENT TRAP, among many others.
The play is also available in both paperback and Kindle editions on Amazon.
Please download your audition edition here.

Onward

Five!

Hello, 1 guest!
-
Good night, all.
-
Congrats, Druxy!
Ditto.

The AP is awarding 264 to Biden, but ABC and NBC are saying 253. Trump has 214 on both counts.
-
Apparently, the networks are removing the 11 from the state of Michigan. Something to do with the Trump law suits I am guessing.
-
I am following the more conservative numbers.
-

The networks’ election coverage this afternoon seemed to imply that Biden had a lock on the 270+ electoral votes needed, but they were not able to call it wink, wink until all of the votes were counted.
Tonight the 10:00 pm Election special made it sound like it was suddenly anybody’s game to win, or lose. And these were the same network commentators on both shows.
-
Whoops, I guess it is Wisconsin, not Michigan whose electoral votes were removed because they have demanded a recount in Wisconsin.

Good evening, George..

I am just guessing that is the reason. One count is 264, the other 253. That comes out to 11 votes.
-
I gotta tell you.

I don’t know who Shep smith is, but he is very cute. I was going to say attractive, but good Lord, I am 70, and he is probably 30.

I don’t know who Shep smith is, but he is very cute. I was going to say attractive, but good Lord, I am 70, and he is probably 30.
Attractive is very correct...Shepard Smith (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shepard_Smith) is 56 years old and is openly gay...even though he used to work for Fox "News."
