DR Elmore, maybe when you get that trunk unlocked, you'll find an old song or two that you can use.

Yours is probably better than those. I'm thinking: Sears, maybe? in the 1960s.

Or maybe even Judy Garland.
DR elmore3003, have you tried turning it over to see if a manufacturer is ID'd on the bottom?
I think we should all have an ID on the bottom.
I blame it on the Bossa Nova.

My insurance is covering $5,000 of my colonoscopy tomorrow. Sadly, I still have to pay more than $1,000 for my copay.

That's horrible. Is this your employee health insurance? If so, they should look for another insurance company.
To Annabelle's dismay we did not need the dynamite. The trusty screwdriver worked fine and the comforter is back in storage.
She watches too many westerns when I'm out.

I still blame Jose!
I've booked tomorrow's Access A Ride. Next: attempted break in.

Oh my god, was the whole thing resolved while I was offline? Without the use of dynamite?
Is the lock now an ex-lock?

I hardly ever watch westerns.
Our 60th Season slide show soon to be seen on DTV, local channel 3.

I mispoke. It’s a CT scan and they really don’t like paying for them. I had to pay $800 for the one they used in the ER in Louisville in December.

My point exactly. Miss Kitty wants to know more about the old West.
Blu-ray check disc has arrived, so I know what I'll be doing for most of today and tonight. Once I approve (they found two menu issues they'll fix), then we're about three weeks away from delivery.
And a Very Happy Birthday to DR Jeanne!! :D
~~~Vibes for Another Little Miracle for BK!!~~~
Last night I watched James Whale's interesting version of H.G. Wells' The Invisible Man. I spent much of the movie wondering how the "invisible" effects were achieved. Movies were more fun before CGI.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Felicitations to our DR Jeanne !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today I must book tomorrow's Access-A-Ride to East 22nd Street.
Wishing a most wonderful birthday celebration to our very own DR Jeanne!
Happy birthday, Jeanne!
DR John G., I'm sorry you didn't install the type of AC system that also performs CT scans.
DR Jeanne enjoy a beautiful spring day.
Thanks to BK for checking the calendar just in time.
I concur. I was watching THE CIRCUS the other day and was very impressed at the effects used in 1928.
How utterly frustrating, DR Jane. It's like people have learned nothing from the pandemic. Or just don't care.
This is my attitude about other people at the moment:
The Chaplin version of the Circus? I love that movie.
Someone stole my credit card number and made some charges. At Panera. Three times. If you're going to steal my card number, why would you eat at that place? I won't eat there. That should have been the first clue to the credit card company that the charges weren't mine.
What I like about Panera: almost anyone can eat there. Vegetarian or carnivore, adults or kids.
What I don't like: they never, ever, get my order right. Doesn't matter which branch, it's never right.
That's too bad, John. My WORK credit card was compromised at the beginning of this year, and they also bought something at a Panera, but one in Florida. At least, they only spent $2.09 there. I assume that it was a test purchase. HOWEVER, they also spent $2400 at a perfume store!! :o WTF??
Keith suggested I use the very end treadmill to avoid having anyone behind me. There was one other person in the row, two treadmills away, so I snagged the end one. All was good for about 5 minutes when this guy decides he needs the middle spot to jog maskless.
I can't. They put unwelcome carbs in everything. The last time I went there, I ordered a steak salad without the dressing. They didn't tell me that they won't do that, so they handed me a salad slathered in the nasty stuff, something supposedly with raspberries in it, but it looked more like red goo, like Big Red syrup maybe. I explained I was not eating carbs and would not eat what they served me because it wasn't what I asked for. That didn't go over well at a bread and dessert place. But at least they did give me my money back.
I quickly checked the address label. It had my name and address. The return address was from “Jane,” no last name - nothing. It was from a P.O. address in Springfield Heights, NY.
Several years ago we had a robbery at the local Wal Mart. They shot and killed the Brinks’ driver and stole the money bag. Later we learned after the robbery of several thousand dollars, the robbers and their molls (girlfriends) went out to dinner at the Red Lobster to celebrate!
I could not believe the robbery, or their choice for dinner.
Both pairs were very delicate earrings (read cheap).
Do they match any of your ensembles?? ;)
I am perplexed!
Well, maybe you can give them to someone...or just leave them somewhere. ::)
