Kitty cleanup is over, the trash taken to the basement, mail and packages picked up, and bed made. I now wait for Amazon Fresh to arrive.
DR elmore3003 - the latest American Record Guide has a review of Harbinger's re-release of the Naughty Marietta highlights disc with Judy Blazer.
I googled Shrimp Louis for photos and recipes and found it is Shrimp Louie.
Not so formal, then.
This one especially catches my eye: https://themodernproper.com/shrimp-louie
I’m thinking it was handmade, as there is no company or bar code on the back or on the envelope.
Anyway, Rick had full-blown AIDS and a few months ago had stopped taking his meds, and had finally decided to end his life with dignity. He lived a good long life. He told me back in 1990 during The Boy Friend that he had AIDS (I don't know how long he'd had it at that point) and with medications, he lasted more than 30 years.
Wednesday morning greetings! I woke up about an hour earlier than I’d have liked, but that allowed me to see a pretty sunrise.
I survived my sleep test and returned the equipment on time (to avoid a $200 late fee).
I am now officially obsessed with the idea of DR singdaw doing MECHANICAL MAN at the Boy Scout Camp.
It immediately reminded me of the story that former DR JOSE told about asking his mother if he could take the soundtrack recording of FLOWER DRUM SONG to school for show and tell in the third grade. She said yes.
What he neglected to mention is that he used the record to lip synch and recreate the choreography for "I Enjoy Being A Girl." He was a big hit with his classmates.
However the nun in charge of the class sent a note home to his mother.....
Except for the seafood DR John, the pasta sounds delicious.
DR ELMORE - I will tell you that a dream such as the one you had are often times MEMORIES of events from a past life or at least that part of your DNA that survived to be incorporated into you yourself.

Seafood mushrooms.
My new radiologist is named Dr.Lobo and he is very nice. A young man from Texas.
He liked my chart and chatter. He used the phrase "Let's build on our success" about 8 times, so I think he was sort of at a loss for words.
He also said he wouldn't have to see me for ONE YEAR!
In the meantime, it's Wednesday, and it finds me home from work (normal day off). I got my 3rd CoViD shot yesterday (Pfizer) and today all I have is a sore muscle where the shot was administered. I hope that is it.
I have heard similar reactions to Big Sur, both in conjunction with musical applications such as MainStage, and because it simply seems to be a bear of an OS in and of itself.
Catalina's the one before it, and Catalina is where I'm staying. At least on this machine, a 2015 MacBook Pro which is just a really nice vintage. It wants me to "upgrade", but there's no reason to. And some good reasons not to risk it.
DR JEANNE I hope you are still exploring Consumer Cellular. If I am not mistaken you can also sign up and get information at a Target Store. That might be easier than over the Alexander Graham Bell contrivance.

My computer is eight years old, and Catalina is as far as it can go.
Weren't Dell computers first only available by mail order?
Thank you all for the condolences.
I was trying to think of a good way to remember Anna, then recalled that her favorite word was sh*t. It used to bug my dad, who wouldn't hesitate to say hell or damn, but sh*t was considered vulgar. Maybe I'll just say sh*t a lot. To remember her, you understand.
"I don't know why you'd want to pay for that!"
Condolences to you, DR George, on the loss of your friend. What a great photo!
DR George, I' so sorry to hear about your friend.
Recently, a trove of Caroline Seidle's original costume designs for Babes in Toyland turned up. Until then, I only knew that three designs existed at the NY Library for Performing Arts. Seidle was a leading designer at the time and the Metropolitan Opera used her quite a lot. Her husband was the Met's prop master.

Are they now calling that Naughty Marietta CD "highlights" since they cut two numbers?
Hugs, George. So sorry on the loss of your friend.
My condolences to DR JEANNE and DR GEORGE - thanks for sharing the stories.....
And DR GEORGE thanks for sharing the photo - it looks like several things I was involved in back in the last century.

DR John I am sorry about the loss of your friend Rick.
Nice group photo George, and special memories.

It is sad he needed to make this choice but I am glad to live in a state that permits death with dignity.
I survived my sleep test and returned the equipment on time (to avoid a $200 late fee).
Good test result vibes.

George, I'm so sorry you also lost a friend yesterday. It sounds as though he had a good and interesting life and I'm glad he had some control over his departure date.
Thank you all for the condolences.
