Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a mystery, and now it is time for you to post until the mysterious cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: BURGEON!
-
Congrats, BK, that The Mystery of the CD Drive has been solved at last!
-
Off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
This has been a peculiar morning. My rhythms are off, and my usual morning schedule is whacked.
-
Now that chilly autumn is upon us, I had three cats sharing my bed, and last night I would swear there were than three fighting for space.
-
And the temperatures this afternoon will be in the high 70s. Time is out of joint, and Oberon and Titania must be quarreling.
-
I have nothing else to report but I do have a question: does any DR have a copy of the vocal selections of Dear Evan Hansen?
If so, can you send mne a scan of "You Will Be Found?"
-
Good morning, friends.
-
:)
-
Good morning from Chicago.
-
We have a rental car to pick up so we can drive to Wisconsin.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Travel vibes for Jane.

Travel vibes for Jane.
DITTO!!
-
Thanks for the travel vibes.
-
Wow Vixmom, what a great anniversary story.
-
TCB, I do recall you visited the Titanic's last port of call.
-
I was pleased when I read the news of Washington's highest state employee getting fired.
-
George I was also surprised to read he was the highest paid employee.

A very slow version of Downtown from Anya Taylor-Joy.
-
Have a nice day.
-
My name is Jack and I'm here to take your money.
-
I'm practicing for my new job at the steakhouse.
-
Sunny today but temps only in the high 60's which is fine with me.
-
I am glad to hear about MR BK's success with his computing machine.....but I have a headache thinking about all of those hours on the telephone!
-
I wonder who at the BBC has MR BK's telephone number on his Rolodex?
-
Does anyone still wear a Rolodex?
-
Barnum has some new Corn Pop treats in his food and he is investigating them....I am glad he is not immediately throwing them into the wastebasket like he does the cranberries.
-
I’ll drink to that.
-
Two!
-
Today is Wednesday and I don't have to do anything.....which is nice.
-
Good morning, all.
-
The Sizzler thing...
What the HELL??
-
I always forget all of that stuff about Dr. No -- how simple and "primitive" it really is as a Bond film.
But especially the score, of which I have no memory at all except for the theme.
-
Today I am practicing not giving DR Jrand71 my money.
You know, just in case such a situation ever presents itself.
-
Rehearsal tonight, but it's the last one of the week. Which is nice. I feel like I'll be getting a four-day weekend.
-
Maybe the Sizzler people don’t want to be the last in business. Maybe they don’t want to be in business at all.
-
Travel vibes for Jane.
DITTO!!
~~~Ditto, Too!!~~~
-
Chewy.com is so easy to deal with. Petco not so much/
-
And I had problems with Chewy. Go figure.
-
Good morning!
-
Enjoy your visit, DR Jane!
-
This six-week old cutie is named Jubilee.
I want!
DITTO!!
~~~Ditto, Too!!~~~
Thanks.
-
And I had problems with Chewy. Go figure.
My cousin had to stop ordering from them since they switched delivery companies. The one they now use in here area hasn't managed to deliver anything to her.
-
Enjoy your visit, DR Jane!
Thank you. We are almost there.
-
I can now add Wisconsin to my list of states I have been in.
-
So far I haven't seen any autumn leaves.
-
I hope that changes once we are off the freeway.
-
Continued travel vibes for DR JANE!
-
DR CHAS SMITH give me your money.
-
My question for ASK BK DAY:
Did you watch I LOVE LUCY as a sprig? What is your favorite episode of LUCY? What is your favorite Lucille Ball movie?
-
This six-week old cutie is named Jubilee.
I want!
With a name and a face like that, of course you do.
-
It’s warm here again. Had to turn the fan on last night.
-
Waiting for a fried shrimp po’boy for lunch.
-
This southern seafood joint smells incredible, even through my mask.
-
I also got a slice of pink cake. Just because.
-
I’ll try to not eat that all at once.
-
Two!
-
Which is actually three. I can’t count.
-
Hello, 1 guest!
-
....I am glad he is not immediately throwing them into the wastebasket like he does the cranberries.
Has he watched Thoroughly Modern Millie too many times?
-
Which is actually three. I can’t count.
I have the same malady. :)
-
Sanditon returns to PBS on March 20.
-
:)
-
Sanditon returns to PBS on March 20.
That's good! We've been enjoying the new episodes of Grantchester, although darker than before.
-
And at some point there will be new episodes of the All Creatures Great and Small re-boot.
-
DR singdaw - I don't think he has ever seen it. His most popular program is The Price Is Right.
-
I found a place in town that will change the oil in the Smart Car - so perhaps I shall drive over there on Friday. They will also check the tire pressure and let me know if I need new tires.....
So that will be good to know.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
We watched Lucy every Monday night. Loved 'em all. For movie, The Long, Long Trailer.
-
This six-week old cutie is named Jubilee.
I want!

I sent DR George a DVD of the Chicago 1998 production of THE GOLDEN APPLE, which I think is better than the Encores! production and more complete than the PS Classics recording. Would anyone like a copy?
There are excerpts from the production on YouTube.

Yes, please. And thank you.

Well, DR George, I guess I'm causing you some work.
-
I would, too, but I feel guilty prevailing upon DR George. Yet again.
-
How's it going with the missing colleague at work, DR George?
-
:)
-
:)
How like my day today.
-
Back to Mr. Chips. Rattigan has written several good scenes for O'Toole, who really is good.
-
I usually help teach on Wednesdays, but the room had a leak last week and can't be used anymore. Only a smaller room is available and only on Thursdays. It'll be fun to see 24 squeeze into a tiny room and try to learn to dance.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
Back from bell choir. First time in ages. Good rehearsal.
-
And back to Chips.
-
I had a chat with the fix-it guy who said he did indeed upload all saved date via the USB port, so the bafflement continues unabated.
-
I found a place in town that will change the oil in the Smart Car - so perhaps I shall drive over there on Friday. They will also check the tire pressure and let me know if I need new tires.....

I hope you are pleased with the service.

It was a joy spending time with Freyja. She likes her new home and all the extra space. Her smiles in person are even better than when we video chat.

That's sweet.
-
Starting to watch Gary Cooper and Teresa Wright in Casanova Brown. According to the poster on the front of the box, it's "The greatest romantic comedy of all time."
Duly noted.
-
I'm tired.
-
Gratuitous post No. 99!
-
Sounds like it is a well-earned tired, DR John G.
-
And with that-
-
Good night, friends.
-
I had to explain to Mom what bipolar -- or pie-poplar, as she called it -- means and why she should treat the bipolar resident of her facility no differently from any of the other residents.
-
Good night, Singdaw.
-
I'm almost a half-hour into Casanova Brown. I wonder if it's my exhausted state, but I'm not finding any of this funny.
-
I had to explain to Mom what bipolar -- or pie-poplar, as she called it -- means and why she should treat the bipolar resident of her facility no differently from any of the other residents.
That can be hard to deal with in a community environment.

Yes, indeed.

A two-volume set of Paul McCartney lyrics is coming out for $100.
-
Amazon has it for $80.
-
Good night, all.

Candy corn bratwurst?

You, too, John.
-
Well, DR George, I guess I'm causing you some work.
Not my first time copying discs. It's quite easy. :)
-
I would, too, but I feel guilty prevailing upon DR George. Yet again.
Umm...don't!
-
How's it going with the missing colleague at work, DR George?
Things are going. I still am not sure about filing the paperwork. We scan invoices and packing slips and things like that and keep the PDFs, and I'm supposed to put the actual papers in folders, but it's not all cut and dry (to me), so I have a pile of papers and don't know what to do with them.
-
I have notes on the piles of what I've done with them so that they can correctly be dealt with...eventually. ::)
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!

Nice!

Finished with my viewing.

I am sorry that I didn’t realize that Jane and Keith were traveling so soon. I guess I have been too self-absorbed. Belated travel vibes!
-
Tomorrow we are going to be brushed by a bomb cyclone!
-
It will actually be hitting British Columbia.
https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/weather/a-bomb-cyclone-of-rain-wind-is-headed-to-the-seattle-area/
-
I think Puyallup had a 15 minute preview of it this afternoon.
-
It got really dark and suddenly we had torrential rain and really strong winds.
-
And then it was all gone. Just like that.
-
We still may have wind gusts between 30 to 50 mph tomorrow afternoon.
