Back from bell choir. First time in ages. Good rehearsal.

I had a chat with the fix-it guy who said he did indeed upload all saved date via the USB port, so the bafflement continues unabated.

I found a place in town that will change the oil in the Smart Car - so perhaps I shall drive over there on Friday.  They will also check the tire pressure and let me know if I need new tires.....

So that will be good to know.

I hope you are pleased with the service.

It was a joy spending time with Freyja.   She likes her new home and all the extra space.  Her smiles in person are even better than when we video chat.

That's sweet.

Starting to watch Gary Cooper and Teresa Wright in Casanova Brown. According to the poster on the front of the box, it's "The greatest romantic comedy of all time."

Duly noted.

I had to explain to Mom what bipolar -- or pie-poplar, as she called it -- means and why she should treat the bipolar resident of her facility no differently from any of the other residents.

I'm almost a half-hour into Casanova Brown. I wonder if it's my exhausted state, but I'm not finding any of this funny.

That can be hard to deal with in a community environment.

I sent DR George a DVD of the Chicago 1998 production of THE GOLDEN APPLE, which I think is better than the Encores! production and more complete than the PS Classics recording. Would anyone like a copy?

There are excerpts from the production on YouTube.

Oh my, yes, I would love that. Thank you!

You're on the list. :)

Well, DR George, I guess I'm causing you some work.

Not my first time copying discs.  It's quite easy. :)

I would, too, but I feel guilty prevailing upon DR George.  Yet again.

Umm...don't!

How's it going with the missing colleague at work, DR George?

Things are going.  I still am not sure about filing the paperwork.  We scan invoices and packing slips and things like that and keep the PDFs, and I'm supposed to put the actual papers in folders, but it's not all cut and dry (to me), so I have a pile of papers and don't know what to do with them.

I have notes on the piles of what I've done with them so that they can correctly be dealt with...eventually. ::)
