Well, you've read the notes, the notes drew blood, and now it is time for you to post until the bloody cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ELATION!
-
Last night, I went down the Facebook rabbit hole, watched a lot of videos, and basically lost track of time. ::) And then this happened:
Wordle 1,461 2/6
⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
For real!! Who'da thunk it?? :D

Good morning, all!
-
I am quite sleepy this morning. The alarm rang and I went back to sleep for another hour.
-
Yesterday, I had a quiet but busy morning followed by a nice bath, and then, just after dinner, another round of nausea that sent me to the bathroom for an hour, followed by an unsettling evening as I apprehensively waited for another attack that did not come.
-
This morning I have a trip with recyclables and garbage to the basement. After that, I have more tidying up to be ready for the apartment inspection on Monday morning.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Crazy damn dreams. The big one managed to combine my boss in my early 1980s job with people from my 2000s job with the lead in this upcoming Evita and probably more stuff that hasn't come back to me yet.
-
This afternoon we are expecting big storms, which is never fun.
-
I just paid two ugly bills.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Made it to Las Vegas.
-
I think I have the CD for His Monkey Wife. I will be have to check when I get home.
-
I finished that last night. Then started a Wilkie Collins called The Lady and the Law.
-
Plot Twist!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
And others.

Continued ~~~SAFE & EASY TRAVEL VIBES~~~ for DR JohnG.!!!
-
It's gotta be a bit melancholy leaving paradise.
-
Isn't it ironic that the two o's in "cooperate" insist on having their own separate sounds?
-
:)
-
I hardly ever have mac & cheese. But if I did have it, I think I would like a chili mac.
-
TOD:
Shrimp mac and cheese or regular!
-
There may be more rain today.....the winds were very strong....but we did not lose power.
-
RehearsaL vibes for MR BK & Co
-
Congratss to DR GEORGE on his millstone.

Facebook rabbit holes seem hit or miss for me. I keep finding, though, that YouTube rabbit holes keep giving me pretty much exactly the kind of videos and shorts that I want to see. I'm guessing the YouTube algorithm is aware of which videos you watch all the way through (vs. switching them off early) and is well set up to give you more of the same.

Did Medicare ever act on giving you some of the home help that one of your medical visits seemed to recommend?
I wonder whether, given your having such nice high-profile credits in 2024 (the ballet and your Times Arts & Leisure section interview about it, and your visible credit in the GYPSY program), the Entertainment Community Fund formerly Actors Fund might help you in some way - at least until good things happen from the book.
-
The pair of keets got crushed ice this morning - so there is much conversation and reproaching going on.....but they have also decided it's bath day.
So they'll get fresh water in a bit.
-
More travel vibes for John G!
-
Rehearsal vibes for BK and company!
-
Ice baths for the keets!
-
on PAGE TWO!!

TOD: Skip makes a truly fabulous Gourmet Mac and Cheese.
-

Schnipper's restaurant near Port Authority has a "Mac and Joe" that is quite good and reasonable cost, mixing Mac & Cheese and Sloppy Joe. That might be similar to a chili mac.
-
Lidia Bastianich had a recipe for mac'n'cheese with fresh asparagus and peas. I'd love to try that, and Jrand's shrimp mac'n'cheese sounds tasty.

Keith also got Wordle in two though you had an easier time of it.
-
I convinced him to put it on FB.

The other night on Amazon Prime I watched the 2006 movie version of The History Boys, whch I wish I'd seen on Broadway. It's quite wonderful and disquieting at the same time, dealing with relationships both educational and sexual between faculty and students, in particular a most amazing general studies instructor who pushes his students to look beyond historical facts and icons to pop culture and celebrities like Noël Coward and Rodgers & Hart. The cast, particularly Richard Griffithsm is quite wonderful.

Being calorically-challenged myself, I assume it's OK to tell this -
On Broadway, "The History Boys" had a beautifully detailed set where, from the house seats and presumably the Tony voters seats, the view was great enough to win Best Scenic design Tony. But from pretty much everywhere else, something was always in the way - something was blocked and you could hardly see anything except from the best seats!
There was a "spoof announcement" going around back then as if from the producers of "History Boys" dealing with this very strange reality -
The non-PC spoof press release went: "The producers have been asked to address concerns that 90% of the house is partial view. Please be assured that Mr. Richard Griffiths can be seen from every seat in the house."

Boo!
-
Boo!
Ooh, that's nice!
-
William Tell and his son belonged to a bowling league, but historians have been unable to determine who sponsored them.
-
We'll never know for whom the Tells bowled.
-
Good morning.
-
I overslept this morning, so I didn't get started on my walk until 6 a.m. It was getting pretty warm by the time I got home.
-
TOD: I like mac and cheese, although I rarely eat it. I know ya'll will hate me for this, but I use Velveeta, because it melts easily. I add whatever other cheeses I have in the house at the time.
-
I always cube the Velveeta and leave a few pieces on the edge of the cutting board in case someone sneaks into the kitchen and steals a few pieces.
-
I like to put bread crumbs on top and let them get nice and toasty. Little kids won't eat it that way, so I don't do that much any more.
-
And by "someone," you mean Leonard, right? ;)
-
I was raised on Velveeta.
-
Today, I hung my signed Into the Woods poster in my office. Signed by all of the original cast. But not SJS himself, alas.
-
I was raised on Velveeta.
The title of your next memoir?

I think this one's a keeper.
-
It's the lemon icing that really makes the dish.
-
We've got some sun and some blue sky here today. Haven't seen that in quite a while.
-
The lettuce makes that a salad, right?
-
Or maybe it's just the unfortunate first trial which ultimately turned out to be zucchini bread.
-
Speaking of lettuce...
-
I'm all out. I need to go get a big ass bag of lettuce.
-
DR Laura, did you see the YouTube I posted yesterday?
-
DR Laura, do you know about these?
-
Boo!
:)
-
I always cube the Velveeta and leave a few pieces on the edge of the cutting board in case someone sneaks into the kitchen and steals a few pieces.
;D
-
I wouldn't be one sneaking in for those pueces 😆
-
And by "someone," you mean Leonard, right? ;)
I didn't think of him.
-
Today, I hung my signed Into the Woods poster in my office. Signed by all of the original cast. But not SJS himself, alas.
Nice.
-
:)
LOL, it would be interesting to know if they were used.
-
The strawberry cats are cute.
-
The lettuce makes that a salad, right?
Sure it does ;D
-
I'm all out. I need to go get a big ass bag of lettuce.
I rarely buy lettuce anymore. I prefer making my salads with savoy cabbage.
-
Now romaine lettuce in restaurants is a real treat.
-
We'll never know for whom the Tells bowled.
Love that!
-
.
Fun and tasty-looking!
-
It's the lemon icing that really makes the dish.
That sounds fun and tasty, too!
-
FUN AND TASTY - sounds like a title for a musical of some sort
-
That INTO THE WOODS poster looks very nice, singdaw!
-
After delay, finally on my plane to sweet Charlotte. Hush, hush.
-
Have a good flight home.
-
We are 2.5 hours from home if we don't take a break.
-
Oh, linger as we need to stop at the market.
-
We walked to our favorite bakery this morning and were the fist customers of the day.
-
We now have a loaf of cranberry apricot bread.
-
And a loaf of cinnamon chip.
-
Both are a sourdough breads.
-
I prefer the cinnamon for french toast, they are both good.
-
The cranberry apricot is delicious with chunky peanut butter and apricot jam.
-
I prefer the cinnamon for french toast, they are both good.
We have Overnight Oats oatmeal a few days a week, and the flavor we had today was French toast. It's a taste that starts the day well.
-
After delay, finally on my plane to sweet Charlotte. Hush, hush.
Sending more travel vibes!
-
And travel vibes to Jane and Keith, too!
