Well, you've read the notes, the notes were busy as a BK, and now it is time for you to post until the busy as a bee cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: EXTOL!

At rehearsal last night, we ran a few things then started at the top of the show, but only got about 2/3rds of the way through act two. It was good work, though. I still need work on the dance for the song, "Facade." ::)
-
And I have to memorize my five or six lines...and songs. We're off book on Monday!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept solidly from 8:30 to 1:30, and the rest of the night was hit or miss: my left hand kept going to sleep and my legs were killing me. Thatch was restless, and then Annabelle vomited. Stella wisely stayed out of the way.
-
I've had assurances this week that all is well with my HRA account, only today, since no funds have been transferred to my bank card, it's clear that all is not well.
-
So, I'll be dealing with HRA again today.
-
I also have an editing session with my ballet friend Doug Fullington. We're co-editing a 1934 ballet score by Kay Swift, who was one of George Gershwin's girlfriends. I knew Kay in the 1980s and she was a wonderful lady so I'm happy to be working on this.

Excellent!

"Flaunt it if you've got it," I say, as I carry around my 65-count bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins.

I was shocked when I heard the government shut down, but only because I wasn't aware it was ever actually working in the first place.

Boo!
-
Very tired and slow this morning.
-
Last night I did indeed have TCM playing at low volume when I hit the sack, but this time I was out like a light.
Imagine my surprise when I woke at 2:16 a.m., thought the clock said 6:16, and because there was some light in the room, I thought the sun was coming up. Then I turned my head, and it was Torn Curtain. Oy! I decided it was only right that I saw a couple of scenes before turning it off and going back to sleep. And I sort of did, but it was a chore keeping my eyes open. I did finally turn it off and passed out again. I even succeeded in sleeping in a little.

:) Definitely something to this!

DR FREDDIE it is a comedy for the most part.
-
I shall consider the TOD. For a moment.
-
Notes blagged. Schlagered.

Good morning.
-
Rainy here.

From DR Singdaw:
There is a lot going on medically here at HHW.
There usually is but it does seem a bit more at the moment.
-
Does anyone besides DR Freddie have United Healthcare? I read that they will be ending Medicare Advantage in many areas. Freddie, you are ok.

Thank you DR Rodzinski.

Standard Medicare here, and I have United Healthcare's supplemental Plan N through AARP.

Thanks for posting that, Jane.
I now have three cards instead of the one card that I had from Fidelis just before I turned 65, but of course the premiums cost far far less. My cards say Medicare Parts A and B, and UnitedHealthcare AARP Medicare Supplement Plan G (I think they call it a Medigap plan), as well as WellCare for prescriptions.

I know this really isn't a proper Yom Kippur atonement sacrifice, but I did make it until 1 p.m. without clicking on any Nicole Kidman - Keith Urban stories.
-
But the titles of the stories have gotten more clickbait-like. Maybe it really IS simply that when there are two huge names divorcing from two separate parts of the entertainment industry, more people are interested.
-
And it looks like Keith Urban has live concerts this week, so speculation about whether he'll say anything during his shows might be keeping the stream of stories active.
-
I kept hearing a tick tick tick that was not a clock.
I was ready get out the bomb detector when I realized it was the ceiling fan in the computer room.

Good that you found out what it is!
Glad that it wasn't the pair of keets gaslighting you.
-
I have United Healthcare through AARP - I haven't heard that they're ending it here and they'd better not be.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep. It's been over a week since that happened.
-
Eight hours of sleep is very good!

Clickbait makes sense. I find it difficult to imagine what more there is to say about the situation.
-

It doesn't look like it. The locations are listed in the link and I believe they are in more rural areas.
-
This one was just too provocative for me not to click on it.
"Nicole Kidman's six-word clapback about her divorce from Tom Cruise goes viral amid her Keith Urban split"
The six words turn out to be "Well, I can wear heels now."
-
When we're still on page 2 at 2:30 pm (Eastern), I suspect any fodder for a post will do. :)
-
At 8:45 this morning I requested a phoe call back from HRA. I'm still waiting after 7.5 hours.
-
Oy!
-
In other news, I just bought the largest red onion Shop Rite had in their bin, because like a perfect idiot I forgot that when buying the pasta a couple of days ago. The making of the tuna pasta salad will commence shortly, and it'll be chilled overnight for eager consumption on the morrow.
(I need some red onion for another thing later, that's why the large one. I know BK said half or less of a medium one.)

;D Is that why I saw headlines comparing this split with the one from Cruise?
-
So… what was the six-word clapback? Don’t leave me hanging.
-
Rodzinsky, it is there. Go back to Freddie's post and you will find it at the bottom.
-
Aha! Heels, got it.

PAGE THREE!

Slow posting day - what is it, a fast day or something?
-
It's a tuna pasta salad making day.
AND I JUST MADE IT!!!!!
It's in the fridge for overnight chillin', but I am here to tell you that having taken only a couple of small test tastes, I was ready to dig right in. I can already say: what a simple and great combination of flavors.

What time should we stop over, DR ChasSmith?
-
Then we can go to DR John G.'s for pie for dessert.

Great, DR George!
-
As for my Wordle score: 4/6
-
Just a reminder to add a bit of salt to each helping - NOT the whole batch after the initial salt and pepper. Just add a small amount and mix it around your plate. Adds just the right amount of flavor.
-
Haircut done and I had a chicken Caesar from Stanley's for food.
-
Yom Kippur services are done. Let the break fast begin!
-
From yesterday:
Jane asked:
DR George your toilets looks nice. Are they both white or different colors?
Both are white, but the walls are different colors. The downstairs is a cream color and the upstairs is a light robin's egg or sky blue...something like that.
-
Thanks, Jrand, for the "Nice new thrones" comment! ;D
-
Very sad to read about Jane Goodall. :(
-
Thanks, Jane and Kevin about my Wordle. And Congrats, Kevin on yours! And Congrats to Keith!
-
Glad the podcast went well, BK!
-
~~~MRA VIBES FOR JANE!!~~~
-
And now, rehearsal! We'll finish act two and then I don't know what...something, I'm sure. :)
-
Have a great rehearsal, George!
-
As for my Wordle score: 4/6
Still very good.
I thought it might have been the reflextion from the walls changing the color, especially since you mentioned the walls were different colors :)
-
Very sad to read about Jane Goodall. :(
Yes. I watched a news story of the people who were waiting to hear her speak when the news was announced. There were many students in the audience. It was nice to see how much the young people cared about her.
-
Thanks, Jane and Kevin about my Wordle. And Congrats, Kevin on yours! And Congrats to Keith!
LOL, I don't remember saying what Keith's score was today. It was a three so the congrats work.
-
~~~MRA VIBES FOR JANE!!~~~
Thank you. I just need a call to get the test done.

Have another good rehearsal.

I'm especially looking forward to when we get the dancers back on Sunday so we can rehearse the orgy scene again. :)

A very soothing voice is that of A&M recording artist Chris Montez. Just watched a short documentary about him. He went to school with The Beach Boys, makes it big with the rock smash “Let’s Dance” goes to England where he’s the headliner over a new band called the Beatles. They take over the world. Herb Alpert always liked his voice and convinced him to sing these mellow tunes like “Call Me” and “The More I See You.” He gets a career rebirth and never seemed to age.
-
I forgot k.d. lang, who knows her way around a standard.
-
Good night, all.

Gratuitous post 101!

Page FOUR???
-
That is most unseemly.
-
It is beyond unseemly.
-
It is crass and crude.
-
It is crude and crass.
-
Let's give four a pass.
-
Or kick it in the ASS.
-
Boot it to the grass.
-
With a blast of brass.
-
Let's not lift a glass.
-
I think we've reached critical mass.
-
Maybe we need some sass.
-
Or a demitasse.
-
Or a song sung by Mama Cass - or Peggy Cass.
-
Step on the damn gas.
-
Or a gown by Bill Blass.
-
And still we're on page four.
-
This is not normal.
-
Is there gaslighting going on?
-
See?
-
Snack on its way.
-

Tonight, we started from where we left off and got to the end of the show.
-
Then, we ran several songs several times (and even sang through one of them first), so that all was a big help.
-
For my Glossop character, I think I have six or so spoken lines, and then a couple sung solo lines, but no solo lines just when I'm in the ensemble.
-
We have to be off book by Monday! :o
-
The spoken lines will be there (and we can call for lines all next week), and I pretty much have my two sung lines, but I really need to work on the one song where I have the most choreography (and my two sung lines). ::)
-
Well, this is going to be our lowest posting day in probably eight years.
-
Why?
-
How?
-
Frankly, I blame Jose.
-
For everything.
-
Having my snack.
-
No one here to care.
-
George already left the room.
-
Well, nothing to be done about it.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
