I love it when Onna White was able to let loose with a great chorus of dancers and a lively song. From Mame. I’ve never seen this before with Angela Lansbury.

My God, the positive energy Broadway shows used to have. Well, I guess you have to say that by definition they still do. But it's different. Because you also need the wonderful music, real orchestras, and ... you know. It's just different.

I am now listening to the A Boy Named Charlie Brown CD, and this has incredible music, too. And playing. Holy moly.

My friend Jim just left.  We had a nice lunch. I had for the first time in years a BLT on whole wheat toast and it was to die for. I want another!

Those "thrillers" sound dreadful.

Agreed! :o

Yesterday I was playing my CD copy of "Rare Tracks", and we weren't sure which event or which book it was for. I did a little searching in BK's notes, and I'm wondering if it was issued in conjunction with There's Mel... in 2010, which was a couple of years before I was here. It's the one that begins with:

We've got the shows, we've got the stars you want to see... NBC.

The notes also indicated that BK printed a booklet for it (?) - like, a track listing? That would be great to have if anyone has a copy.

I have scans of the booklet.

Wait, that's it! I was just seeing track numbers on my screen, but the titles are there on what I was originally sent. And it is indeed identified as being from There's Mel...

I think it was DR George who sent me the tracks for 5 CDs, and I do have the book titles for the others. Excellent, and thank you again, George!

I would still love to know who's on all of these, if that information is out there.

The booklet does include performer info, so if we're able to post pics again, I can upload those.
