ê  -- that's using derB's "alt 0234".  The Word insert menu doesn't give me keystrokes for creating the symbol for the circumflex.

I'll Google it and see what I come up with.

derbrucer, I use shortcut keys for gaelic and german due to writing a freind who speaks gaelic and she is attempting to teach me. I use the german for genealogy research. I have a number of names that have umlauted o and u.

Done four pages, and shall now take a break.  Mr. Spirtas is coming later than planned - they had a power outage in his neighborhood.  So, he'll be here about one-thirty and we'll go eat and work.  When I get back, I'll finish three more pages and perhaps end the chapter I'm on.
