I bet Toby the birthday boy likes to swim in water, or splash around in it.

Well, no one can say we didn't get to page six.  I've showered, am feeling relaxed, moved some more DVDs to the garage and now I'll go watch another movie, I suppose.

I don't think I have anything to add today.

They play a note, like on the piano, and then I remember it to this day. And then they’d ask you other questions, and then they’d play notes later on, and they’d say, ‘Which is the note we played from one hour ago?’ And I’d, like, get it right, I guess.”

That's Toby the canine, not Toby the birthday boy.

I'm glad you clarified!  :)

Well, I didn't go to my sister's today and she didn't call me.  I just tried calling her on my cell phone (my only phone) and the call didn't go through!  I dialed the numbers, there was silence and then about 15 seconds later, it just beeped a few times and displayed the message:  "SIGNAL FADED CALL WAS LOST."  I couldn't even call to get my own messages. :-\ I hope that this problem doesn't last very long.

Well, it's real early for me, but I've some TV watching to do up in my bedroom, so I'm going to say good night.

"Good night."

I've been keeping my friend company on the night before the celebration of life services.  We have a brief run through at 10:30 tomorrow morning and then the services are at 2:00 PM and 7:00 Pm.  I have a feeling it's going to be a very long day

Between Lucie Arnaz and Gale Gordon - and a STAR each week - it sends me running for the hills.

DR DRUXY thanks for the link to that story.  I sort of remember when it was going on and Mrs Astaire was upset.....and lo and behold....yes I saw a name I recognize from HHW in the article!

I am intrigued by the NINE preview.....I haven't really ever listened to the score - since I don't get pretentious EYE-talian movies - I have never even seen 8 1/2.

I enjoy them more now....I really liked CONTEMPT....wait I think that's a French film....anyway....we shall see.

Just finished watching Breakfast at Tiffany's - as you know, I was really unhappy with the SE DVD of it - all brown and ugly.  Well, I taped it and Barefoot In the Park on HD-NET movies and holy moley on rye - Breakfast looked really good - still would prefer a hair more blue, but so much better than the DVD.  And Barefoot, whose DVD is ancient and yellow, is gorgeous in hi-def in its new transfer.  Now I want all the Paramount classics in HD!  Why they don't put Tiffany's, one of their most popular films, which has had heaven knows how many DVD releases, on Blu-Ray is anyone's guess.
