Certainly I took us to page eighteen and, as the Gershwins said, they can't take that away from me.

This morning I went for a walk, and this is what I saw:
Logged
“I play great music. People like the music I play. But it’s funny because my father would not have thought about music for me. But I do. I think I have an ear for music. They play a note, like on the piano, and then I remember it to this day. And then they’d ask you other questions, and then they’d play notes later on, and they’d say, ‘Which is the note we played from one hour ago?’ And I’d, like, get it right, I guess.”

I just got a phone call from Duane. He wants to know why I'm home.
My guess is Duane has been enjoying New Year's Eve a little too much and his fingers fumbled a bit when he dialed his phone.

This past week on Facebook I have found some amazing people from my past (this is what happens when one is about to begin a memoir) - and I've got all sorts of new and interesting friends now, including the latest, Mr. Don Bluth.

I remember one year when DR Megan was here, I sent the girls outside with pots and spoons to make lots of noise to celebrate the new year. I told them to stand right at the edge of our property over by the cranky old man's house.
