My mood after THE TALK brightened considerably after a Facebook message from conductor John Wilson!

To brighten everyone's day, I recommend:

A little song

A little dance

A little seltzer in your pants!

I was just reading a recipe that had peanut butter icing. It said to use Kraft whipped peanut butter. I didn't even know there was such a thing. Has anyone tried it?

It is much hotter here today than the temperature they gave on the weather channel.

Thankfully no rain. I think we are scheduled for no rain for another 5 days!

I took a walk around the sewage ponds today, but there was not much water and not much going on, bird-wise. Too hot. Too dry.

I never heard of it & read it is new.  I'm in no rush to try it.

Nice haul from the Goodwill store JRand.

In Salem they have a Goodwill Outlet store, where you buy by the pound...but their CDs are all $1 or 5 for $4. I have found many goodies there....oddly, you can always count on there being several Amy Grant CDs as well as High School Musical in the mix. I know not why.

Maybe a rain dance will help.

And maybe it'll help even more if the dancer is "dancing"!

I'm disappointed no one responded to my question posted on Aug. 31st.  I'll attempt this again.

Two gentlemen in my hiking group are part of a Marching Band, in 6/8 time.  They have been asked to march in the, first time ever, Ashland Gay Pride Parade and are wondering what would be appropriated.  Any suggestions?  I told them I could get loads of ideas for them.

Yogi has just spent the last several hours whimpering in his room.  I just let both dogs out on the deck & then back into the house, now that Craig & Keith are about to come back in after working outside.  Yogi knew Craig was outside his room so he wouldn't settle.  I decided I didn't want to listen to him do what he is doing now, running around the house crying excitedly. ;D

Maybe Elmore will come to Arizona, and I can take him for a walk.

DR Laura, that would be fun and educational, but I've got a long trip to the Library of congress in my future. I really want to go back to Dublin!

I remember thw inquiry but I have no idea what it is you want to know by "what would be appropriated": do you mean what would be appropriate? Appropriate what?
Music?
Instrument?
Clothing?
Shoes?
Bag?

Oooh!  Ooh!  Can you take a LiveCam with you so we can get Larry's reaction to the sewage ponds?

(Just teasing, DR Laura.  I know it's a very scenic habitat.)

I also think that visiting DR Laura would be a hoot! Especially if there are kittens.
